Weight 171.6 Random musing: It's easier to come here and post when my weight is decent, but I need you most when it's not...

Monday sure rolled around quickly! The dog is walked, the trash is out, and I'm off to pick up a birthday, a Christmas, and a Hanukkah present. Later this afternoon it's back to the trainer. I'm sure a week off won't make it easier!

My walk up a hill with my friend who's been out of state for two months helping her family was lovely. As an admitted hermit, I have to constantly remind myself that connection with good people is food for the soul. As is connection with nature.

Off to brave the mall and then to a very pretty, ritzy garden center in Newport Beach for the prezzies! (One of my friends is a flower designer and obsessed with succulents right now. This place has the most unusual and cool succulents around.)

Good Morning All - Im back from our nephews wedding. It was such a great weekend. DH and I hired a huge house and all our kids stayed with us. It was nice to spend time as a family. The wedding itself was just lovely. Blessed to have been a part of it. Loved spending time with our grandson too. He is such a gorgeous boy.

Playing catch up after taking Friday off work - and month end processes, invoicing etc etc so I havent had a chance to go back and read what everyone has been up too.

Havent weighed - will try and do that tomm morning. I expect a deserved gain.....

Our neighbours brought their little miracle home on Saturday and I was asked over last night for a cuddle. She is super tiny. I felt very privledged to be their first visitor and fed her and cuddled her off to sleep. She has astounded even the drs with her progression. I said to my neighbour, she will grow to be a very determined little lady as she has already proven shes something special. Im driving the girls to dancing this morning and picking them up as Mum cant drive after C Section. Nice to be able to help

Hope you all have a wonderful evening and its good to be back. Need life to slow down a lil - ha ha ha - with Christmas just around the corner I doubt that will be possible. I havent done half my shopping !

Here in the Bold North we have been deprived of sun. So much so, that the paper said the last time fall was this gloomy was in 1983. I laughed, because that winter 83/84 was record-breaking for snow and cold. But that's not how I remember it. I was a senior in college, and was busy falling in love with my now husband. I remember it all sparkly and shiny. I guess I had my love to keep me warm. :) Such sweet memories.
