OMG Ann! I'm so glad that fall wasn't as devastating as it could have been. You rest up and heal.

Whatever the outcome of these midterm elections, I feel all patriotic and verklempt to witness this fervor for voting today. Minnesota historically has great voter turn out, but it's really ramped up.
I spent the day with my parents at the cancer center. We feel like my Mom has a well thought plan of treatment, and the prognosis is good. Her cancer cells will face their Armageddon, starting next week with her first chemo session.
Now to settle in and watch the returns.
132.something. Maybe I should take after Diane O and just take the whole number or reflect if I am in range or not. Except that I have forgotten what my original range was - lol! I've been staying within a 4 pound range for a few months now and that is without tracking, not following a very strict post VSG plan and not getting much formal exercise in (though I do get at least 10,000 steps most days just doing my "stuff". My eating has been rather intuitive as of late. There are meals that I skip because I'm not hungry (or busy) or both, there are times I snack before bed because I am hungry (a rare thing for me even when I was heavy), I go out to eat frequently (but usually make good choices) and I am drinking more alcohol than I have in years (but still not to excess......usually). It is working for me right now, so I won't feel too compelled to change things up unless it stops working for me. I'm only a few pounds from my surgeon's goal weight for me (130) whi*****luded a buffer for regain.
Had a good weekend showing Kevin my hometown and introducing him to my family and besties back home! The weather here is turning cold and my days for outdoor exercise (except for maybe some snow shoeing) are coming to an end. I did buy Kevin some snow shoes for Christmas to hopefully motivate us (me!) to keep up with the exercise. There is always my yoga and boot camp DVDs which have been collecting dust along with my treadmill in my exercise room! I do take a walk most days at work if we don't have a work meeting!
Hope you are all doing well. Ann, sorry to hear about the fall. Yikes!
I envy your ability to "intuitively eat". I still have difficulty determining when I'm truly hungry or not. So good to hear that your social life is going well!
