I really wish you could feel as good as we see you. Feel as great as your kids see you. Also, as wonderful, kind, loving and giving as your pups see you.

We really deserve to feel good about ourselves.

Gorgeous, Bonnie150. :) I don't know how you artistic people do that stuff. It's beautiful.

Well, my big news is I survived the funeral trip. I don't have the energy now to detail what happened at the funeral, but I'll get around to it.

But the big news is that I LITERALLY almost didn't survive getting to the funeral. Saturday morning, while rushing around in the rain packing the car, thanks to wet heeled boots slipping on my hardwood floors, I took a hard fall and face-planted myself onto the kitchen floor. My chin is bruised bright purple, my neck, and many ribs were shifted out of place. But somehow, miraculously, thanks to guardian angels and my DH's spirit and all the other good powers out there I somehow didn't break my neck. And I am sore as can be. And yes, I did pick myself up off the floor and drove 300 miles each way to the funeral and dealt with funeral drama, of which there was some. But more of that later.

In any event, I've been ordered to rest this week -- no exercise at all. With a prescription like that, which I haven't had since WLS, I'm just reading my ass off. So very nice to do this.

Missed you all. Good to be back. I'll be back in harness tomorrow morning and report in normally.

xoxoxo
