Funny how the minute I am outside of my range, I'm obsessing about tenths again ! Who am I kidding...it's a total work in progress to simply revel in being in range as opposed to obsessing about where exactly in those 30+ possibilities I am !
One more sleep here, then we stay by the airport tomorrow for our 6 AM flight Thursday. Even though it is 29 degrees and cloudy here, my mood is lifting just thinking about sun and heat. As I was packing, I appreciated my emphasis on clothes for walking, hiking, being ACTIVE as opposed to my old emphasis on loose clothing to go out to eat. I am also struck by how much size 6 clothing I can fit into a suitcase versus 4X. Bonus !!
Age: 64; 5' 5"; High weight: 345; Start weight: 271 (01/05/15); Surgery weight: 218 (05/27/15); Pre-Op (-53); M 1 (-18); M 2 (-1.5); M 3 (-13.5 ); M 4 (-13); M 5 (- 8); M 6 (-12) M 7 (-5, Xmas); M 8 (- 9) Under surgeon's goal and REACHED HEALTHY BMI 12/07/15!! (Six months and one week.) AT GOAL month 8. Maintaining at goal range (139- 144) ~ four (4) years !!
Weight: 166.8. Kinda holding steady. Shocked with how much I've been eating. Looking bigger than scale reflects, I think.
Sepster-hello! and Welcome. We are all very imperfect people just trying to do better! I feel ya--I had WLS 8+ years ago, got down to about 149. That was nice--wish I was more like 139 (or 138.5 bc I could've said I was "half myself.") Now 149 sounds like a dream. I kept around 155ish for several years, then around New Year's 2017 weighed 167 for a day and said "enough" and lost down to about 155 again and felt great. Got pregnant, my post-pregnancy weight was about 165, and now pregnant with #2 a short time after and have gained approx. 2lbs. this time around. Trying to keep chugging along. I used to hate it when people told me it's forever. Well unfortunately that's kind of true. The good news is I've learned I don't have to do forever today. I just have to do today today. Makes me think of Scarlett O'Hara "I won't think about that today...I'll think about that tomorrow."
Diane O.-I know, right! And if you send my teensy little stepdaughter on a tropical vacation with short shorts, tanks, I swear she could fit the whole of her outfits for a week in a wrislet bag...Okay not quite! But yes clothes take up a lot less room the smaller they are.
Thoughts and/or prayers today please. DH second interview and hoping it goes well and we can settle back into normal life here...at least for awhile!
Did I mention how much Becca has grown in about 10 days? She started crawling, clapping, and now she has TWO teeth sprouting up. She hasn't been too fussy, and has been sleeping wonderfully...until last night. Tired momma.
It is marvelous to hear about how Becca is growing and changing. Definitely one of the greatest joys in life!

Greetings My Friends
151.5 today. I seem to have lost my fitbit. I think thats about the 4th one. I am going to check and see if it came off in the car or something but I fear its gone. Oh well. I will get another one. I don't like the wrist band ones as my hands are often in clay and water but thats what they seem to push these days.
Dinner last night was some cooked hamburger with a bit of pasta sauce on it plus some parmesan cheese. Kind of an italian thing with no pasta. Worked for me.
I made a major costco run to have stuff for Halloween. Wears me out. Thats probably where my fitbit is. But I did score some truly awful candy that I absolutely will not eat. Shopped for a new microwave only to find that they won't install it. Gotta shop elsewhere. The current microwave works but the handle broke off.
Peps I assume you found your glasses. I thought of you because this morning I lost mine. They fell behind the bed.
Hey cool Diane O on the tiny clothes. I never thought of that but it's true. That and not having to pay $10 extra for plus size clothes as I was reminded while perusing catalogs. Enjoy your trip.
BB it must be so fun to see Becca clapping and crawling. But lookout! Nothing is safe! Sending good vibes on the job interview.
Scrabble this afternoon. Glad I got my shopping done yesterday.
Thinking of Ann in NOLA. Party on. Diane S
Good Morning :) Halloween here but I highly doubt we will get any trick or treaters up here at the farm. DH has meetings today then will have some dinner with me and drive 3.5 hrs back to our city home for a couple of nights. Im staying here - happily with our 3 dogs and 7 cows. Of which I finally took pictures of !
Not a lot planned for today - some laundry and will vacumn the mini house after work
Hope everyone is well :)
