Greetings Moon Worshipers
Gotta admit I haven't noticed the moon. Probably because of the cloud cover here. It rained a little yesterday and last night. Yes I am in California but its more like Oregon here. Diane O, good for you for heading to San Diego. No one needs non stop rain.
Well I think I am at 151.5. Spent yesterday playing Scrabble by a wood stove. Delightful but not high on the exercise scale. Gotta move more today.
Yeah Ann, you nailed that tutu look. Any remarks at the dentist? Glad life is not sucking for you.
Diamond sorry you are hurting. Hope you get some relief. Is it potassium that is supposed to help leg cramps. Or quinine? Hope you get some relief soon.
Dave good for you for attending to all the medical stuff. Glad your back is improving and hope you get permission to hold Adalyn soon. Nice of the deer to entertain you while you are recovering.
Yikes Peps, Ron had the world's largest catheter??!! Glad he is more comfortable now. Hope he gets some answers and can move away from that thing. Glad you had a good workout and are not eating your way through these rough times.
Goobers goobers goobers Shel. DH keeps a big costco can of them around which is why I struggle with regain. The costco brand is particularly good - not greasy. Don't try them. You will become addicted. I decided they were better than spoons of peanut butter due to the lack of added sugar. But not much.
Studio work and payroll to do today and maybe time to enjoy some fall color. Gotta get cracking and plan for Halloween since our town's facebook page has loads of chatter about how good our street is for trickortreating. That means the hoards will be more than ever! I will probably have to get about $100 worth of candy. I know of a guy who lives in a gated community who opens his garage and hires a bartender on Halloween so the parents can trick or treat too. Sounds good to me. But my treat du jour is more coffee. Diane S
A hosted bar for parents on Halloween night. What a brilliant idea! That guy should get into heaven for that idea alone!

Still hanging in there tracking and measuring my food and keeping the calories down. I did that even with movie popcorn in the mix. Felt very "middle ball of a Newton's Cradle" having managed that...
I got my blood results and my thyroid is out of whack again. I've gone hypo now. I think I may have to just bite the bullet and get it radiated to kill it off. But I can't get in to see her until December, so it's not a decision I have make today.
I did get an appointment with a gynecologist on Nov 7 to discuss fixing my blood thinner problems, so that feels proactive. In the meantime, I'm missing Pilates today as a result plus had a terribly interrupted night's sleep last night (every hour I have to get up) and likely again tonight. Grr and zzzzzz...
Hope you all have wonderful Wednesdays!
Damn, girl ... when you take charge, you really do. That's the way you do it ... and stopping now before I sound any more like Dire Straits.

Good Morning All - made it today - apologises for lack of attendance yesterday - I will read through everyones posts shortly. Thursday here and I slept in - well I was up at 5am to take DH to the station then due to cold and not sleeping well - I curled back in bed for what was supposed to be a sneaky extra hour - oops 2 hrs later I bounced out of bed running. Guess our bodies tell us when we need to take the extra huh. Have dinner in the slow cooker - something I made up so see if it turns out. Pork Chipolata Sausages with Leek, Green Apple in creamy chicken n sour cream sauce n herbs. Mum loves pork n its her last night with us - so will serve with mash & steamed veggies. There will be leftovers for her to take home too so that will make her weekend easier as she heals after eye surgery.
I thankfully only have one errand to do today after work which will be bliss as I have been running around like a headless chicken this week.
Saw my dr yesterday and she didnt like the sound of my chest with this cold. I am on a course of antibotics and also back on asthma meds for a bit. Hoping it clears. Pelvic Ultrasound shows cyst has burst which is good - I see Gyn in January to discuss options but hoping for Hyster (evict a bad tenant as such). My knee new was as expected - Its a mess in there and shes reffered me back to Orth Surgeon - UGGGGGG Im thinking it will be decision time. Least he cant ask me to loose weight before surgery can he ha ha ha Im 88lbs lighter since he saw me last 3 years ago. See what next month brings
Well I best go get my work started - being awfully slack this morning. I will pop back and play catch up through the day
Keep smiling :) And sending you bundles of Aussie Sunshine to those in need xxx

Shine on, shine on Harvest Moon, up in the sky.... Yes, the moon is gorgeous right now.
Ron refuses to walk as the doctors have prescribed. His excuse is the catheter. I'm irritated by this issue. So I have decided that I am done nagging. Let him clot from being sedentary. ARGH.... Also, his appointment with the PCP was rescheduled for Friday. Means I have to reschedule both Friday and Saturday to fit everything in now. Boooooo! Oh, well....enjoy surfing Facebook, buddy! LOL C'est la vie!
My scale loved me this morning. I was down to 252, which puts me at the 10 pounds lost since PA and 8 pounds from start of no sugaring. I can see the next decade approaching and find that pretty motivating. Once I drop more than 10 pounds I feel it is a for real thing. A loss under 10 pounds can come back pretty quickly for me, so until I drop just past 10 pounds I sort of don't quite believe it... Funny, huh?
What's new? I don't feel like I'm dieting. I am simply trying eat "no sugar" as much as possible, but I am not killing myself by not using condiments or salad dressings that might have trace amounts of sugar. (I do need my Stubbs BBQ Sauce and some Splenda in my plain Greek Yogurt!).
Does sound like everyone is on the upswing. I like that.
Well, I read yesterday that one of the habits of successful people is creating "To Do" lists. I created one for myself. It is ridiculously long, though can be done over time. So, I must get my butt off the recliner and get a few things crossed off my list!
Cheers!!!!
