So glad to see you in good spirits- and, by the way- whoohooyou! Sounds like you are off the diving board and have smoothly entered the water. Swim like you know how. Yes, indeed, sugar is the devil.

So, where did this pink eye come from? Surely not school! (been there, done that).

Clever you for coming up with the pee catcher idea, and good for Ron for asking you help him - an honest and true form of the word love- the ability to give and receive in return.

Carry on Nurse Peps! You are, indeed a marvel to behold!

Dave, you are sounding more and more like your (splendid and delightful) self! So glad that you seem to be recovering nicely from your surgery. That is the way it is supposed to be--to come out better from a procedure. Walk on!

Last night as we pulled into our driveway There were many pair of spooky eyes glowing at us from the wood reflected by the headlights. It was fun to watch them move in the darkness, bodiless in the night, ever turning to glance our way.

I hope Adalyn is on the mend. Snuggling is good and soothing medicine.

Peps--good to hear you and Ron are home again and resting (resting means you, too- self care important when caring for others, beware too hungry, tired, etc...) I echo- Nov. 1st on the catheter? Poor puppy.

Last night dressed for the theatre- Cabaret.. There were a few superior voices (Sally, of course, and Fraulein Schneider) and the Stage Band was Outstanding. Choreography good, but very stiffly executed, and the acting,( Sally, Schneider, MC, and F Kost excepted ) proved to be the weak links.

Bread in the oven- trying an oatmeal-ww-honey loaf with some white flour to give it a bit of a lift. The procedure I will have, as far as I can tell will also result in what seems like a RNY without the pouch. Shoot and golly; I had the sleeve because I didn't want to rearrange my insides, deal with malabsorption issues, and all that. Am trying to find some healthy ways to add some healthy calories in advance. Any suggestions, Ann?

The sun is out- looks to be a pretty fall day in SEKansas. The way the weather has been, I was afraid we were going directly from summer to winter! Today is an appreciated weather adjustment.

Life is short-life is precious- the world turns --enjoy your day, fellow earth travelers!

Greetings Great Friends

Boy do I adore this group and glimpsing everyone's lives. Yeah something really is off kilter in the galaxy with all this unsettling stuff happening. Whatever happened to the age of Aquarius?

At least I was down a half today. I did a fair amount of walking yesterday though I forgot my fitbit so its without a witness. It really has turned to fall today and I had to bundle up.

Dave, glad you are feeling better and able to do some walking plus baby snuggling. Wish little Adalyn could catch a break on the ear stuff. Not again!!

Peps, glad Ron is doing a little better and considering health changes. Even McDonalds has some salad options. But the main thing is to just focus on recovery and rest. You are being a good nurse.

And hey Peps, hope to see you at the Napa shows. Wanna show my dog? I will pay you. I really hate going in the ring.

Diamond, are you a football fan? My team Nebraska plays Minnesota today. The Huskers have been terrible this year so who knows what will happen. Glad you found the old pub. Sounds like fun.

Gallery duty today which will be slow. Squats in order if I can stop playing Words with Friends for a minute. Actually there is banking and other stuff. After that its home for the recorded football game. BB I hope your team does better than mine has been doing.

And BB, so crawling is happening! Nothing will be safe. I am sure you have child proofed. And clapping!! I may have told you my niece-in-law has done some really cool kids music called the Freckles Project.

Watched another episode of the Romanov's. I didn't like it.

Yep, food needs to take a back seat. But that makes me think of keeping food in the back seat. Not a good idea.

Liz glad you are having a good trip. Enjoy. Shel enjoy that extra coffee. Take care all. Diane S

Diane, Not a football fan, even though I am a University of Minnesota graduate. Sadly, the Gophers mostly disappoint. I keep track of what happens with The Vikings because my students always want to talk about it on Monday. I like to know when they're playing because that is the best time to go to Costco.

We did not like the second Romanovs episode nearly as much as the first one. I guess a new one is coming out every Friday. We're still curious enough that we will give episode 3 a chance.
