And there, ladies and germs, is what happens 3 days after ending a 5-day regimen of Prednisone ... the scales dropped another 2 pounds overnight! And I slept well again last night, too. :) It's so delightful when the cause-and-effect goddess smiles on you. ;)
This morning I also feel like my bronchitis is easing up. Yesterday I used my inhaler only once. Only 3 more days of antibiotics to go.
Yesterday was gorgeous! It'll be even cooler today and a cool, cloudy, rainy weekend coming up. More layers of clothes to enjoy. :)
Plus it's Friday! TGIF! My weekend company isn't coming after all, due to an unexpected work assignment. I'm actually glad, having had enough people around here all week long. I'll get to enjoy some quietude for a few days.
Today's theme (I'm rounding out this week with what's been working): Begin anew!

Weight 120.2, calories 840. I was actually lower in calories at my usual bedtime but I had to stay up to midnight to pick my stepdaughter up at the bus. She flew to Jacksonville for an interview and most flights into Boston were delayed by at least a couple of hours because of the wind and rain. Last night was mostly wind, but it is POURING out this morning and Justice refuses to go out even with an umbrella. Florida dog! Anyway, I had a couple of extra snacks because I was awake so long and feeling tired which makes me want to eat to stay awake.
I alternated sitting with Justice in the main part of the house and Lavender in the lower level yesterday. So they smelled each other's scents all day. They also seemed to be getting used to hearing each other's sounds. So I might have them see each other today by letting Lavender up while Justice is behind the gate in the sunroom. We will see... Anyway, Lavender seems to like it here so far. I think she has a great personality. Better picture of her below than yesterday.
And yes, Begin Anew! I love that theme.

Everyone said it already, but I will say it, too: What a precious kitty you have. Meow!

We found a break in the rain to situate the RV and begin to unpack/organize. Yes, Peps, we're a mile from home. We are in a designated oversized RV area of the resort, which we anticipate we'll have mostly to ourselves much of the time. There are a lot more retired RVers than I thought, including the ones next door with two yippy little dogs. Resort campgrounds advertise that they don't tolerate barking dogs, but apparently yipping doesn't count. The incessant noise would drive my two NUTS, so we spent the night home with them last night, and haven't brought them to the site. We checked, and these people leave Sunday.... We're there until 10/29. Big deal...little deal. Sadie is TOTALLY recovered. You would never know there had been anything neurological going on !
My plan when over or under my range is to closely monitor 2-3 more days to ascertain trend or blip. I am committed to resume logging food if I don't return to range by Sunday weigh in.
DC decorated the RV rear ladder, and I did the front. Pictures later. Take a breath and begin anew !

You are so methodical in tracking all these dimensions and handling your weight! I would feel overwhelmed assessing all that daily I think, but I maybe I just internally evaluate other things?

167 today.
But I have some news...I'm 7 weeks pregnant! Saw baby's heartbeat today. I know it's early and to be cautious, especially with pregnancy and infant loss awareness month in October. I debated whether to let you in on this secret, as most of my peeps irl don't know. But I feel such support from this group, and given what a hard week it's been with sick kid, husband away, etc., this gives a little more context. Especially to future weight gain! Yes, we are gluttons for punishment!
