Weight 171
Today includes a trip to the therapist (first time since late April) and an outing to the movies with a friend to see A Star is Born.
Otherwise, just waiting for the first round of garbage trucks to clear out of the neighborhood before I walk Fergie. He's scared of them!
Good Morning
Weekly weight - 170.72 - not surprised I have gained a tiny bit as I have been hungry - TTOM is coming and always makes me want to eat EVERYTHING in sight
Mums surgery went well. Shes resting well here but having trouble with persception with one eye covered. We go to get the eye patch off this afternoon so hoping that will help her. She has come down with a cold so hoping I dont catch it! Havent been sick in over 18 mths and hoping to keep it that way.
Not a lot on today - Will put on pork roast at lunchtime so it can slow cook - its over 10lbs. Then do the vegetables later.
Have a wonderful evening all :)

Last night was just pretty rotten. This husband going out of town thing is getting pretty old. After dropping him at the airport I decided to swing by trader joe's. Well, when I pulled the stroller out, the bar that attaches to allow the carseat to fit in came off. And I have no idea how to get it back in. I ended putting becca in the basket of the cart...which meant no room for anything to buy. why is it that there are seemingly no attempts to make life easier for mommas? On vacation, not ONE restroom I went into had a baby changing table. That's outrageous. They are people too! Anyway, I digress. So as I started to drive home she started to fuss...hungry...ut oh. Well construction being done on the highway, down to one lane, 30mph, she's now wailing! About a mile away from the house and I suddenly hear a gurgle amid wails. She's thrown up. On her carseat. That I wouldn't in a million years know how to take apart, wash, and put back together. (Some good that law degree did, huh?) I make it home, get her out, leaving the frozen and cold groceries in the car. Carry her inside where she barfs all over the floor. I'm on my way to change her and she barfs a second time, getting me. I think she just overly upset herself. But she could still be sicky. I know she really wanted a bottle, but she's too upset and too icky on herself. She did not like her bath. And it took extra long to soothe her...no way I was gonna let her cry (and vomit?) in bed. Go downstairs, clean floors, clean carseat, get her clothes and throw them in the laundry. finally put away groceries. Whew. I really wanted to eat and/or drink in that moment. Some days feel hard.
On top of that, my dogs, who have now been treated for fleas 2/3 months, seem to have bad fleas. They it*****essantly, hair falling out, biting tail bloody. But since marley had a seizure on way to get groomed, I'm scared to take her to the vet. Not to mention physically I cannot do that with the baby there. I need my husband home :( What to do about fleas??! We have people spray the yard and I assumed that included fleas..but DH is double checking today (and will purchase if not). Take to vet? Groomer? HOme remedy (other than Advantix?) Do I need to do anything about the house?
DH should hear something about that job/how his interview went this week. He thought it went really well. I just can hardly wait for him to be back at home.
Bravecto! Miracle drug. Need a prescription, but one pill lasts three months and kills fleas very well. Until you get to the vet for the prescription, you can go to most pet stores and buy a OTC drug called CapStar. It's a 24 hour pill that will kill all the fleas on the dog for a 24 hour period. If the fleas are living in your house, it's not a long term fix, but it's a very good start.
Devon, you are such a great resource for this group!!!
