TGIF! This week I've definitely earned my TGIF. Y'all have, too!
Yesterday, I ate a bit more. And that's OK. :)
Aquarobics this morning, and then so many errands to be done.
BTW, I'm happy to be back in the daily reading habit. FTR, since July I've added (or strengthened) these daily habits: meditation (including new, more specific kinds of meditation), reading books, walking 10K steps daily, making my bed, decluttering, and unprocrastinating (cleaning up long-ignored stuff that needs to get done). I'm curious to learn what the focus of next month's zenhabits.net assignment will be.
Daily structure is wonderful, and I do much better when I have a schedule. But I can feel it will soon be time to spend more of what's left of my life being creative, by which I mean writing.
Today's theme: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.

Weight 120.2, calories ?. I did well splitting a meal with DD at a BBQ joint until they gave us candied bacon for "Happy Hour". OMG! Salt, fat and sweet all together! What's not to love! Anyway, then I also had 2 of BIL's homemade chocolate chip cookies when I returned home. No big deal - back on plan today.
Ann, writing! I bet you could write some excellent articles/books! When I was young I thought I wanted to write novels when I grew up, but unfortunately reading them is not the same as writing one that anyone else wants to read.
The lawyer I met with yesterday was young and quite good. We have a plan for some immediate changes, then more later on. The Florida condo will go into a trust, a couple of my legal documents need changes now, and some ownership needs to be changed. Later on if DH has to go into a nursing home my other assets will need to go into an annuity to provide ongoing income to sustain me. Hopefully that is way down the road and maybe not needed depending on what help I can have at home.
Today I have yoga and need to go get DH some milk for breakfast in a few minutes. Rainy this afternoon, so maybe I'll take care of the end of month bills.
Have a fit Friday!

Greetings Friends
I was AWOL yesterday. Had gallery duty in the afternoon but what kept me occupied was the fascinating senate judiciary hearing and the incredible Dr. Ford. Yeah we stay away from politics here but her presentation was truly inspiring. Makes me wonder if I would ever have such courage. Also makes me realize how truly minor my own problems are.
Still at 151. Lentil pasta the other night was delicious and VERY filling. I recommend it.
Good on you Ann for Zen habits - especially decluttering. Too much junk wears you out. Why does a financial company have to send a 10 page statement to tell me there is $1400?
DH has hernia surgery next Friday and this coming monday is a pre op appointment with the surgical nurse. I will go along on that so I can get instructions on care. It should be laparoscopic and I think they send him home same day. But the hospital recently let some staff go and people are protesting and its kind of a bad time to be in a hospital. Not much choice around here. Its the bad side of being in a rural area - yeah we can go to the big city but its a travel hassle. Oh well, first world problems.
Peps, glad you scored on a bargain. Shopping is a manifestation of the hunter/gatherer instinct. I am not much of a clothes shopper but I do enjoy cruising Bed Bath and Beyond. DH is a compulsive Kmart shopper.
Loved all the posts from yesterday. Gotta read them again. Diane O, sorry Serenety didn't last. Next time you will travel in style in the Seeker.
Cecily good to hear from you. New invention idea "Funk-Away" a spray to spray away a bad mood.
More banking today for galleries. Adding another person as signor on the account so she can help.
Dave glad you are mending and can get out of hospital. LOL, using grabbers to put on pants. I have seen such gadgets for putting on socks so why not. We have several. Rest up buddy.
Well thats all for now. Time for another coffee. Thank you Arabia for inventing the stuff. Diane S

Lyle is rocking! Happy Friday. We have a family wedding this weekend. 5 years ago, my nephew was in a terrible accident. I thought I would be attending his funeral, instead, now I get to go to his wedding. And his lovely bride, she stood steadfastly by his side through his whole recovery. Looking forward to celebrating! It will be a late night, our dd arrives from Boston at 11:30 pm, and other family from Salt Lake City around midnight. Couldn't be happier about going to bed in the wee hours.
