thanks Peps, hoping to see you at some dog show one of these days. Yeah the fair was fun but I was too tired to shop for tie died. Don't know what that Patchouli oil is but there were plenty of essential oils. Guys in skirts and on roller blades pushing baby carriages. A fun time indeed but I was just not inspired to shop for tie dyed stuff.
Went to the great restaurant in the casino for dinner. Ordered crab cakes appetizer and only ate half. then gambled a bit but came home with most of my money. A nice day.
Do keep me apprised of dog show plans. Tesla needs to get out and I need to coordinate with her breeder now that her main comp is done. I am serious I would hire you to show her. I was pretty good at obedience but am a dolt int he breed ring . I assume it will be 4 months until you show a pup. Rainy season. Take care. Diane s
No weight all weekend.
Spent an absolutely wonderful weekend away at a charming Bed and Breakfast with my new man !
Lots of hiking and walking and talking and yummy eating. Choices were not all that great but portions were very small so I think tomorrow's weigh-in won't suffer too much.
It is absolutely crazy how well Kevin and I are getting along. Feels a little like he was hand picked from God and I'm pretty sure he feels the same about me! Communication is outstanding and chemistry ain't that bad either!
Sorry your trip is coming to an end Liz. I've so enjoyed the pictures from your travels!
Ann - Fall sure ha**** your area. Beautiful pics as well!
I'll catch up with the rest of you this week!
Hello all and Happy Birthday to our Fearless Founder!
Bonnie150....I sincerely hope your employer will support you. I just deleted a rant about the absurdity of a situation that largely comes down to luck of having just the right employer at just the right time when one needs a particular service. It shouldn't depend on luck. Look at that....another paragraph. But, I'm leaving it.
Liz, safe travels. Peps, one of my goals in the next few months is to simply do regular push ups so props to you on that complex T-thing. So happy to see you progressing on your awesome work outs! Yes, you can do hard stuff.
FIL's service was yesterday. Life is complicated.
In happier news, DD is the new concertmaster for the Highschool's top orchestra. I'm so glad that she sees what consistent effort can yield over a long period of time even tho one isn't perfect every single day (or month)
Gotta run,
Shel

Shel, hope FIL service was a good one. These rituals of life and death are so important and so difficult some times. I will always think of him as loving the apple juice. We attended a memorial today for a woman who probably most walked the Christian walk of anyone I knew. Godspeed to good people. she was a sweetheart. Hope you are feeling ok about FIL passing under the cir****tances. Take a tiny item up to Ranier when you summit as a memorial. DS
Happy birthday, a joyful christening, farewell Europe, morning mist in the Ozarks, west coast memorials, and puppies meeting their new people and traveling new homes throughout the West.
I am sort of wiped out. Sending each puppy home is a 90-120 minute task. Going over vaccine schedule (no, I'm not a whack job anti vaccine person. Au contraire! I want to make sure my pups get completely vaccinated, thus the "talk"), interpreting puppy aptitude test results, explaining why certain collars are far safer than others for a baby, food, contract, medical exam results, and of course, the best par****ching new puppy moms and dads meet and start to get to know their new Airedale puppies. 6 pups have moved on. Two are left. One goes to his new home next week. The other has no one waiting for her, so I guess she'll just have to stay here. LOL!!!!
I am forced to now deal with food and sugar issues. Damn! I promised myself I would make some changes after the pups left. After much consideration, and possibly a little addict type negotiating with my inner self, I have decided that I can handle at this point to detox from sugar, but am not ready to ban flour of any type from my life.
Tomorrow is Monday and I feel like I need a weekend to recuperate from puppy pickups! LOL!
Cheers!
Do you feel like an empty nester after your puppies move on? I think I would. It looks like you have found some wonderful homes for them which must help.
BTW, what do you think of these? I use them on Justice and they seem to work really well for comfort, fit and safety:
