141.2
Liz, I could dwell in that dining room for hours. You could put Twinkies and milk on the table and it would be fine dining. Enjoy-enjoy.
Today I am an emotional wreck. It sucks and I historically have been so good at hiding and suppressing such feelings that I am having a very hard time dealing with them. The least little thing sets my heart beating, my eyes stinging with hot tears and an overwhelming urge to start howling overcomes me. I am afraid.
There's no fixing this, and I'm ok- Kurt is here, and we're talking-- just releasing some of it. Do not fret. I am only able to admit this here because I know you know I'm ok. Just guessing this is some practice needed and I need to go through it.

Greetings Labor Day Travelers
149. Hope no one is laboring too much today. I just made about 4 dozen cheese crisps to take to friends for a holiday gathering. Hope its enough for the mission to fatten up my skinny friend.
Scotland Liz! So wonderful. Hope heathers are in bloom. Edinburough is such fun. We went to some scotch distilleries for tours. Don't like the stuff but it was fun. And we had a cool encounter with a mime near the castle. Did you eat any haggis? I tried a bite but its nasty. We took a tour of the underground housing where common people lived. Astonishing.
Peps, I posted some J names. Joleen, Joyce, Jenna, Jeez Louise, Jolly Roger. Her face alone says "keep me". Any hey, you look good in that picture. You are a good looking dude.
Shel so sorry about your FIL. Hope your DH is doing ok as well and you and DD. Losing a second parent makes one feel sort of orphaned. Not easy. Glad you shared the baby-man-bun story. What a picture! Told DH and he laughed and laughed at your description. Man buns are good for something. But Yikes those trails, I couldn't make them on my hands and knees with two sherpas!.
Bonnie 140, sorry you are feeling crummy. My only advice is get some clay...... works wonders. Twinkies and milk would be fine most anywhere. I guess they still make those. I might even eat haggis on the Britania - might not.
I actually got a small amount of gardening done - removing weeds around a couple of old blueberry bushes that stopped producing. Maybe can nurse them back to health or just get some new ones. Its getting to be time to plant them. And the wild blackberries are out now and grow in empty places up and down the street. I should pick some and freeze them for a winter treat.
I also got most of the kitchen table cleared off of papers and lord knows what. DH can't seem to tolerate an empty space - immediately fills with junk.
Haircut tomorrow to keep up my new "do".
Playing with my new BP cuff. 111/86. I have issues at the doctors office so we got a highly rated unit and compare it to the doctors. Am I an old lady or what? But pre wls I was on BP meds. Not now.
Enough drivel. Time to clean up and get ready to party. Diane S
I lost my post...dadgumit!
It's been a good weekend with shopping, dinner with my parents, OU football and relaxing.
Shel-so sorry for your loss.
Liz-hoping you and DH can acclimate soon. Your trip looks amazing. Enjoy each moment.
We're going to NYC in October for our anniversary. I'd like to lose 10# before I go.
The puppy pictures make me wish I was at the puppy party! How's school, Devon?
This week will be rainy and we need it. I have plenty of protein choices for the week so I can choose healthy. I can practice choosing healthy.
Loving the RV adventures, DianeO. I'd love to visit your gallery, Diane. My friend is opening a gallery soon that I hope to frequent often.
Positive thoughts. Healthy choices.
137.somethng - up, down, up, down. Wanting to get to 130, maybe 125 but I'm actually feeling (and I think looking) pretty good even at this weight. The low 120's were too low. I'm not finding this level hard to maintain and it puts me at a BMI of 23.5, so not too shabby. I'm anxious to earn enough PTO back to get my plastics finished (body lift/thighs).
Still need to ramp up the exercise a bit but got a good walk in yesterday and plan to do something tomorrow.
Planning a fun weekend away with the new beau next weekend (14th-16th). Telling the boys I'm doing a girl's weekend, lol. They don't need to know everything! He's telling his daughter he is on a golf weekend with the guys. Sneaking around like teenagers can be a fun even if it is a little naughty!
Shel, so sorry for the passing of FIL. Wishing you all peace in the days ahead.
Devon, anxious to hear more about the little girl you plan to keep!
Miss 150 - hope your spirits improve
Can't remember whose friend had their dog run away due to fireworks but prayers for finding him soon!
Liz, have a great vacation.
Diane O - have fun with the new RV. Let us know how it goes with the dogs. Did DC bring Alexa along? I have 2 echoes that I don't use too much, mainly for music and an alarm clock!
Diane S - we have not seen art work from you in quite a while, please do share!
