139.something. Glad to be back in the 130's (at least for today). Eating has been good but alcohol had increased some (class reunion and wedding last weekend, date yesterday).
I joined a few dating sites, got quite a few hits and a few dates and freaked out a bit and decided to not do it anymore but quickly decided to go back but limit my dating to one person at a time (which is how I used to date before internet dating was even invented!).
Anyway, I've had 3 dates with a widower that lost his wife to cancer 5 years ago. First date was only okay, 2nd date was good, and 3rd date was awesome. We went hiking and I packed a picnic lunch for us (chicken Caesar salad and wine). We only had one glass of wine each, but the picnic was quite romantic and we ended up making out like teenagers in the State Park! It was fun and made me feel like a teenager again! Silly 50 some years olds! We have some more dates potentially planned but he needs to get his daughter off to college the next several days.
Work is going well. I've joined a photography group and an outdoor adventures group so my social life is going well too. Last Thursday I got over 25,000 steps in with walking (on date #2 for over 2 hours) and then a 15 mile bike ride with the adventure group that night! Yesterday steps were over 13,000 with the hiking. I think we might go kayaking next week. Love being active again. It had been too long!
Hopefully I can catch up on what is going on with all of you now! Have missed you!
Paula! Look at you!!! It is nice to see your world expand as you are ready! Hugs!!!

It's amazing to me that you are participating in so much. Ben is proud of you. After DD died I was frozen for a long time other than work (not good).
I hope the kids are doing as well. Love to you!

First Day Back went well, I suppose. Nothing too stressful and I believe if the kids walked in tomorrow, I'd be pretty much ready with lessons. Would have to wing a few things, but I could teach. Now, as far as the niggly details - books, supplies, name tags, bulletin boards, etc... none of that is done, but to me those are peripherals, not core stuff. As long as I have a direction...
Going to do a really cool cooperative activity to observe problem solving, stamina, and cooperation doing a hands on activity the second day of school. Kiddos are going to make a spaghetti tower. They get 20 pieces dry spaghetti, 1 yard of string, 1 yard of masking tape, a pair of scissors, a yards stick (to measure height) and 1 Large Marshmallow. The objective is to make a tower that will support the large marshmallow sitting at the top of the tower. Altering the size of the marshmallow in anyway is a disqualification.
I may or may not go back tomorrow. I don't have to, but it will give me an opportunity to do some of the niggly work.
Food has been of little concern the past several days. Weight is stable. I am interested in checking out Diane O''s book recommendation. I need major rewiring.
Have to go back to the Apple store tonight, too. Apple is trying to fix my phone for $29.00! New battery is supposed to correct all the problems. Remember that sneaky thing they did with the programming? Apparently, my phone is one of those. Anyway, the guy tells me that often times replacing a battery on the 6 plus breaks the battery connections and instead of repairing that they will simply give me a new phone. I'm like break away! LOL!
Dottie is in full blown season. Ace is a wreck. Tank gets it, but not at the same level as a 2.5 year old male. Ella is still insisting on nursing her babes. Can't argue with her. It's her prerogative. She doesn't have to. I feed them plenty, but she is happy to do it and the puppies benefit greatly from that. So... nurse away. Old time breeders would scold me, but I'm telling you, it sure as hell helps overall development - especially temperament. Mama time is very very important. That's why I keep them until 10 weeks.
Not much for me on the weight front today, but I really must find the inspiration to embark on the Change Journey that so desperately needs to be made.
What a wonderful dog papa you are. And I want to go back to school and have you as my teacher!
