I will have to look for that series. I'm running out of things to watch at night after DH goes to bed.

I have nothing! I think I am in the OMG-It's-the-last-week-of-Summer and I still have to do this, this, this, this, AND THAT! And of course, I'm wondering why I didn't lose 20 pounds over summer vacation! Actually, I'm not, but I did have the fleeting negative thought of "Summer is gone and you didn't lose any weight." That's just an old tape that plays on occasion. At least I don't take it too seriously anymore. I do feel that I made some emotional progress this summer as far as being able to accept some of my habits and the drivers behind them. That's a step, right?

Sometimes a diversion from reality for me is to log on to Realtor.com and check out properties in different areas. I spent a lot of time last night (and maybe 30 minutes this morning) looking at PNW areas. My favorite area was the Key Peninsula of WA (because it is affordable AND beautiful), but I don't think there is any there, there. I could be wrong. Shel, for your reference I was using Lakebay as the search city.

Back to School does not incite panic in me, but it does put my procrastinator on high alert. I enjoy the ease of summer. The lack of stress is glorious, but I do find that I can be more productive with a set schedule. When I truly do retire, I will do better if I have a schedule rather than just puttering about each day. Of that I am pretty sure.

I have had some last supper thinking the past day or two. Interesting, because it's never a good thing for me to engage in that behavior. I am wondering, too, if that means I'm getting ready to make some extended ha*****anges. You know, since the old tape is playing.

Will see the shrink later today. Will stop at school on the way and assess what needs doing. Sigh....

Realtor.com--Zillow.com---Trulia.com. I am such a voyeur-istic, peeping Tommette house grazing ***** Have house favorites all over the country with no earthly plan or legitimate reason to look.

So much fun to search around the Key Peninsula. I have not been there. It is not exactly a place one would accidentally happen upon, from what I can tell.

I have no doubt that it is beautiful, everything over there is. Beautiful views and much of it has a bit of a wild feel to it. And rusted cars scattered here and there. :)

I found myself wondering where you and Ron would get medical care, coffee and Costco. Not necessarily in that order. When I looked at it from that perspective, it isn't THAT far from Gig Harbor which (I think) has it all. Bigger hospitals would be across the narrows bridge in Tacoma.

Mt Ellinore is a relatively nearby hike that could take me into the general area. Sort of. If I ever get over to that particular hike, maybe I'll turn off and go down the Key Peninsula.

So, enough of me researching your research. It is all fun to think about.

I think the end of each "phase" (season or break) is a normal time to reflect and yes, sometimes unfortunately to play old tapes.

My DB (is that the abbreviation for brother???) wants to move to WA as well. He lives in San Jose now and wants the beauty and affordability of WA (away from Seattle of course).
