Just did a quick skim. This has been a particularly rich week for profound thinking !! The beat goes on ! So inspiring !
Atlas is now a certified Service Dog !! He finished testing today, simulating curling up small at the bulkhead of a plane, staying on his "spot" (a folded beach towel) under a restaurant table for twenty minutes while leaving food that was dropped in his vicinity, and riding an elevator getting in last and waiting politely for people to exit before entering. He'd already tested on the other items. It is hard to remember he is only ten months old AND a lab, which make his focus and devotion all the more remarkable. We have a veritable diaper bag of his things we now travel with (treat puzzle chew toys, water/bowl, towel, paper towels, wipes etc.) ... so proud of him and DH.

Diane, big kudos to Atlas and his trainers! His skilz are exceedingly impressive. Heck, I couldn't sit under a restaurant table with "food in the vicinity" and leave it alone. Really, I couldn't.
