Stubbs BBQ sauce is low sugar, as BBQ sauces go. I LOVE rubbing chops with Olive Oil and rubbing with ample salt and putting the chops on a VERY HOT grill. Cook to medium rare to medium (no more than 130-140 degrees internal temp). When you pierce a chop with a fork clear juice should run out. If it doesn't, it's over done (or raw! LOL). Let the chop sit for a few minutes to absorb the liquid back into the tissue, season with pepper and spices as you like and serve with BBQ sauce. DELICIOUS!
Hello all ! Down one pound after our last forray into hospitality land. We purchased hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese and a veggie platter for the communal good of the order. There was a multitude of baked goods I was able to resist.
DH has decided to go for a disability retirement. He has been written out of work for the next week and a half due to PTSD issues. We are working to reconcile my independence with him being home all of the time. It is a work in progress. I am eager and apprehensive at the same time... ambivalent.
Liz.. the cottage cheese has me thinking about an IP. It is extremely hot and humid here too...trying to stay hydrated. There have been lots of news stories about the positive impact of broccoli on the local news. Will be exploring recipes in the next few days !

144.2. Quick check-in. Have been all day at the first of several school in services-work days, yes, school is about to commence. Moving from elementary to high school level and excited about the intellectual opportunities. Will miss the very young sweeties who are always so willing to ask for as well as give so much love--but then, in their own way, high schoolers need and want the same relationship- just in a different way. Ahhhhh,,,nothing else--totally brain dead at the moment. Will have to build up mental stamina after summer break.
