OH MAH GAWD!

I really did do that, didn't I?

Well, a week or so ago Carbon thought it was June. So I guess Carbon and I are just too damned spiritual to pay attention to miniscule details like which month it is on Planet Earth!

Pffft!

LOL, but I am sure Stephen Hawkings (rip) would say that a month or two is not even a nanosecond in the history of the universe. So no big deal. But for a moment I thought I was going goofy and had somehow missed two months of my life including my birthday! ds

Greetings Friday Fun Lovers

150 today. No doubt due to big dinner out at the fancy seafood restaurant to celebrate Tesla's dog show wins. I had pan friend oysters. I ate two of them and then sleeve was screaming at me to stop! Big go box in the fridge. DH was smarter and ordered a crab appetizer. We had a good time. We hardly ever go out like grown ups. We mostly talked about dogs - restaurant owner is also a dog show person. I need to go shop for some dog show clothes - all I have is what we used to call "grubbies".

Ann those dogs will be fun. Is the greyhound a retired racing greyhound? They are so sweet and docile and love to be couch potatoes. Danes are fun too but ya gotta keep a drool rag around. They will love to run on your acres if its safe to do so.

Yesterday I dripped some coffee across the carpet. My good little dog Tesla dutifully went from drip to drip and licked them up. Now if she would just learn to do laundry.....

Shel, more stunning pictures. I didn't realize the Olympic peninsula had that kind of geology. I thought it was all moss and ferns. And hey, google something like "shark bite at trinidad beach" for your DH. There was video on facebook and big news stories about this itty bitty shark. I think ambulances went to the beach and a huge deal was made about it. Poor little guy mistook someone's ankle for a salmon.

Hey I found some Fairlife milk! I was looking in health food stores when its at Target and Walmart. I drank a plant based protein shake yesterday as I was out of yogurt - well I drank half of it as it was terrible. Not doing that again.

Terrible fires inland around Redding. So bad that they have closed the highway. And people from Redding come over here in the summer to escape heat but now the road is closed. We go to Sacramento next weekend for dog shows and will have to check to make sure no fires are in our route. The Redding fire was arson and they caught the fool.

Studio today and gluing some little figures on wine stoppers that I make.

Liz interesting about your friends discussion. He probably felt that talking to you about it would help him deal with it. What an awful thing to have lived with especially years ago. Hope he gets some peace. And yeah, as we get older it seems easier to be more honest and yet kind when talking to those closest to us. As youngsters we worried to much about doing or saying the right thing or fitting in or being liked. Wisdom does come with age (except for Cecily's aunt crabby).

Mama Mia 2. I have a friend who saw the first one at least 10 times. Gotta call her and ask her how many times she has seen the new one.

Hoping rain comes to all, including our fire areas. Roger, over and out. Diane S (who is this Roger and why is he out?)

Roger, over and out is kin to Roger-Dodger. Now, what that rascal was up to that he has to duck and cover to avoid whatever is being chucked his way- who knows? For that matter, just who in the hell is Chuck?

I may have to look into the Fairlife Milk. (Because I could not help myself and perhaps hoping to find reassuring information re. The Freckle test upcoming), When I Googled for info. Found that they can be caused by high protein-full fat type diets which happens to coincide with what I eat plus veggies. Another cause for innocent cysts is accidents to the abdominal area. You think the 45 minutes I hung upside down by my seatbelt when I rolled the car on a deserted country road a few years ago might have something to do with it? Focusing on a positive outcome next Tuesday.

Now, for the surprise of the day for me (most likely a one day wonder, but I'm claiming it for however long it lasts)------145.2

Wishing you the best on the freckle test. Rolled the car! Geez that would give me more than a freckle. Like need for clean pants. ds
