Yah, on the eating the whole measured and healthy portion because it is some kind of medical food prescription NOT ever to be skipped because what? the protein or fruit police are going to ticket us--or we will wither and die--or, God forbid, we may just break the magic WLS spell and instantly turn back into the pumpkin?
Gosh, I was doing the same thing when I mentally calculated protein needed, divided it up into meals, would prepare said meal and then take it to the living room to nurse it (over sometimes 1 1/2 hour) because that was the only way to work my sleeve), and I knew I wasn't going to sit at the table until I finished. Geeze, isn't that instituting the old childhood rule, "finish your plate because...." ?
So agree with you, Ann...Shenanigans.... In my case, I'm trying to sit at the table with Kurt and use his timing. If there is food on my plate when meal is concluded, so be it. Malnourishment is definitely not my problem. I find that my stomach and head both agree that some is enough.
Which may be why my weight is trending downward again- 147.8
Day is busy--filled with ordinary things. Happy to be here!
Edited to clean up some especially vague (even for me) communication/grammar
