Weight 160.8 with garb. Need to reign myself in.

Today I'm supposed to be packing for MI. I'm procrastinating instead with errands. Later Ferg has a vet appointment for a lip infection (floppy lips makes for a good moist breeding ground) and I'm having them look at a front leg limp before we head out.

Those of you with dogs, when they limp on a front leg, how do you know what leg is bothering them? Is it the higher step leg or the lower step leg if that makes any sense?

The leg on which he puts more weight is the leg that is okay. The one on which he puts very little weight (the high step leg, quick touch the ground and off the ground leg) is the one that hurts.

Thank you! He's back with the vet now. She thinks he cracked a toenail, but not enough that it's hanging - just enough to hurt. And we're getting ointment for the lip.

Today is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day for grief. Could not stop crying this morning, which delayed me taking Aidan in for his Temps test (which he passed). First (legal) driving lesson only had one near hit collision with another car. It was the other car's fault - we were turning right onto a road and they were turning left, uncontrolled intersection and they turned at the same time and cut us off. He handled it well, I may have needed a change of underwear!

My head feels stuffed up from crying so much. I need a nap. I do have a counseling session tonight, so that is good.

Last week off of work. Back to the grind on Monday.

Change of underwear, ha! I'm so sorry you're having a bad day. They aren't kidding when they say grief comes in waves. Drink lots of fluids to stave off a headache...

I am sorry that you had a crummy grief day. I hate that stuffed up head from crying feeling.

OMG about the uncontrolled intersection!!!!!
