142, up Boo!

Drowning in paperwork. It sucks! I think I do see a dim light at the end of the tunnel though!

Hard rain right now but it is supposed to clear up. I have a full event pass for a Christian festival/concert series Thursday-Sunday.

Off to get ready for that!

Hi all!

I still have a fever. I went a little nuts and was googling fevers and PEs and saw several papers that discussed people with PEs developing fevers 5-15 days after being diagnosed because they had pericarditis (mine started 12 days after). So I texted my doctor to ask about it and he said my chest would hurt if I had that. He said it could be an inflammatory response to the clot breaking down with the blood thinner. I just want it to go away. I've officially become a paranoid hypochondriac.

Hmmm. Two positives... it's two degrees cooler today. My house cleaners came this morning so I'm enjoying a clean house. And a third! I finished a 1000 piece puzzle my cousin sent me while recuperating. Such a sense of satisfaction putting in those final pieces.

Hoping ear infections, paperwork, job stresses, and uninvited midnight conversations all go away soon!

You are not paranoid if everything happens to you.

Isn't hypochondria the IMAGINING of having an illness or medical condition? How can you be a hypochondriac when you keep getting all this weird "****" post surgery? If you ask me, you have every right to ******vous Nellie about what the hell is going to happen next! Just when it appears you have turned a corner and are on the mend, something else rears it's ugly head. The PE was a horrific thing and VERY SCARY!!!! I think it is very normal for someone in your position to be extremely leery of what might happen next!

I'm glad you are able to stay in and stay cool. As for your puzzle, after the sense of accomplishment wanes, don't you almost feel a let down, as if saying somewhere deep inside, "Well, what now?". I do when I finish books, projects, earn a dog's championship....

Thank you! It is a lot of weird ****!

As for the puzzle, yes I definitely get post puzzle or post project let down. I have trouble wanting to demoli**** to get my table back. Like the Lego sets. They are so cool, but why are they still sitting assembled on my dining room table??

Well. I'm a little nervous for you, too but I have a worry gene so don't let that rile you up. I have worried about many a silly thing for LONG PERIODS OF TIME until someone breaks me out of my trance by staying "um, that's not really a thing."

But, you are not being paranoid. Don't be afraid to contact your medical peeps.

It does make me feel better that you had recent appt with surgeon. Doctors are ruling out all sorts of stuff when they do the physical exam, even if they don't comment out loud.
