Your pictures are amazingly beautiful as always. I have the gps watch for DH working now, but I am also working on making sure I am familiar with all the features before I start using it.

Your tree pictures are magical. Transports me 2K miles. Makes me breath in. Love the spiral growth. I love the twins with the short branches and I also Love the last one beside the old growth stump. Those short moss covered branches make me want to climb it.

Good morning

beautiful walk. Liz glad that the "funk " is moving on.

Guests leave but more arrive tonight. I have that "revolving door" feeling.

happy Friday.

I have a hard time with that revolving door sometimes! I hope you get a break after your next guests!

Peps
on 7/6/18 10:27 am

Ella's behavior is telling me I'll be on nigh****ch and dawn patrol. I'm guessing pups will come in the wee hours. Maybe even tomorrow morning. We shall see.

It is overcast - unusual for this time of year. Lots of moisture coming in off the Pacific from the tropical southwest. Should be about 90 this afternoon with 50% humidity (which is frightfully high for us).

Talking about the weather is a wonderful distraction. What I need to do is sit and journal out some stuff. It's odd how we (I) deal with negative feelings/issues. Rather than seek the help I need, I withdraw so I don't bother others with my silly problems. I even had the fleeting thought when beginning to post here that I should just not post because it's bad enough that I'm fat and post on this board, but OMG fat and WHINY - that's just too much! And I feel embarrassed that my issues would color my mood when some of you are dealing with issues and losses that are truly profound. Yet, I am the one who tells others to not diminish their own feelings because they are real and should be acknowledged. Go figure.

Again, nothing I can't handle in the long run, because I am strong, independent and one hell of a survivor. Just dealing with some of the **** I deal with on an ongoing basis takes its toll.

Onward to puppies! I LOVE puppies! Wish us a uneventful whelping.

I love puppies too! I don't trust people who don't like dogs. I understand if you had a traumatic experience, but to just not like them is weird. They're wonderful animals.

What's not to like about unconditional love (plus cuddly and sometimes goofy/entertaining)?
