Love the meme, Devon!
Weight garbed: 156.8
Taking my blood thinners like a good patient. I find it gives me a dull headache, but a single extra stength Tylenol seems to do the trick. The warnings say beware of severe headaches, but makes no mention of minor ones. Hope they aren't permanent fixtures!
I didn't make it to the movies yesterday. Maybe today. Ferg will need his several little walks. He's so funny. He basically decides his route through sheer stubbornness. It's easier to go where he wants to go than fight it and it makes him happy.
Off to do wound care...
Wishing all a good Sunday!
I bet that headache goes away.....
I like that Fergie has the opportunity to boss you around a bit.

Greetings Sunny Sunday Ones
Its sunny here today and it will be a hot day for our area. Sounds like pretty much everywhere else too. But it is July - Dave is right! - where has this year gone? For us business geeks is the start of the second half of the fiscal year.
Still 150. In a bit I have to leave for the gallery to start the new sales system. Hope it works. 26 artists can come up with 26 ways to do everything and maybe only two or three would work. We shall see. Armed with passwords, here I come.
Pioneer Woman pasta salad? I didn't know pioneers had pasta. And here I thought they ate beans over those campfires. I do kind of miss pasta so once in a while we have lentil pasta which is extremely filling.
Looks like everyone has fun 4th plans. Mine will be getting dog ready for shows. Poor Tesla was so wigged out over firecrackers last night we had to give her a doggie downer. Chip doesn't seem to care. And they can hear stuff we can't.
Liz the deck looks great. A glass of wine, Justice, and a lounge chair. Perfect.
Well Peps, get some relaxation in between dogs. Bet you are sticking close to home with puppies due in a week. Hope the fires are done for now (and ever).
Diane O, fun with the dogs and the water. I used to have a cairn terrier who was insane about the hose. We could not let her in the yard when the automatic sprinklers came on as she would destroy them. Reminds me of the big dog park down in the east bay. There was a little inlet and all the labradors were paddling around. The chihuahuas were all being carried around. Great fun.
Well time to chow some protein before heading off to my so called work assignment. Diane S
150.4 Nothing much cooking here- a true day of rest, and am enjoying the moment.
I have some thoughts bouncing around regarding, well, food and the effort it takes to eat the good for you stuff. Lately, all that crunching and chewing is sucking all the joy out of eating. It's not the taste, it's the work involved. Does that make any sense? Spoons of Greek yogurt- finger's full of peanut butter- cheese-nuts--- I have found myself just giving up on what I've prepared and gotten into that type of stuff- which even though they are not necessarily bad choices, are still basically slider foods. I can see how this leads down the road to ruin- a slippery slope, indeed. Opens the door to chips and all that all that. Not to worry. I have not yet jumped into the endless house of skittles and peanut m&ms--just some nagging thoughts and current attitudes about, well- food and....

I hear you on effortless versus effort-required eating! I even ordered a week's worth of really healthy low carb meals, so they just need to be warmed up, and eating them feels like an effort. I realized I don't really like greens, especially those with garlic. And they are cooked, but lightly so, requiring chewing a lot of something I don't love. The meals are well balanced, full of colors and textures and all I want is a plain turkey and cheese sandwich instead. They taste fine once I get going, but it's not craveable food.
I had never thought about slider foods being effortless! I am (or at least want to be) a lazy eater!

Hello all,
I neglected all but me, today. I was on the road by 5am so that I could drive over the Cascades to find sun. (DianeS, is that true in your area too? That just over the mtns it is sunny and dry?)
I haven't looked at my stats but around 10-11 miles and about 3000 ft elevation, I think. It didn't really matter....the sun was out and the hike was gorgeous.
Pics (mostly) of Colchuck lake below. Its a glacier fed alpine lake and pristine....absolutely clear. Even the streams are clear. Amazing.
Have a great night!
Shel
