Greetings Sporty Friends

Still at 149 and holding. Getting into avocados these days as the health food store has these little ones and I can eat the whole thing.

Love the Aruba pics Liz. You two are a couple of beach bunnies! Like an Anette and Frankie movie. Safe travels.

A canoe! Enjoy it Diane O and get a kayak too. When my DH and I were dating we went canoeing with his family and we immediately got in a big argument because I couldn't paddle correctly. His sister managed a way to get us into separate canoes with others because she was so desperate for her brother to find a girlfriend/wife that she didn't want us to fight! DH ended up in a canoe with a Chinese man who didn't understand the concept and sat in the canoe backwards and managed to swamp it. It was hilarious. We were in cabins in this little Ozarks river resort and the Chinese man couldn't understand why no one lived in the cabins during the winter.

Cecily, sounds like a fun night out and loved your description of the restaurant. What a treat. Bet you do end up a size 8. I was down to a 6 before my regain. Keep on healing.

Shel, so true how the guys get into their gadgets. Example: Dave and son and the welding. Teenage neighbor girl is learning to weld from her dad so DH gave her is arc welder that I think he used exactly once. Ditto a large ladder. That was part of the garage purge that was a prerequisite to the latest toy: the electric car.

Watermelon house Ann! I picture a pinkish house, green roof, and little black dots for seeds. Our house painter helped us choose a trim color - light grey to go with lavender house. Its great. Go with the contractor's help.

And Diane O, glad the dogs are mending. Our dogs might get lucky today and get a beach walk. Looks like the sun is coming out and the wind dying down.

Yesterday was kind of a bust. Ended up spending what seemed like hours on the phone with a government worker straightening out a sales tax issue for the gallery. The worker was actually very good and helpful but it took forever to talk to a real person. California changed the name of the sales tax collection entity (probably because it now collects canabis tax too) so a new account has to be set up as they have a whole new web site. Anyway, it was mid afternoon before I could get out and about.

Thinking of Paula and family today. Makes me all the more grateful for what I have.

News flash. Me the slug of all slugs just went to the beach with the dogs. Windy as all heck. No 10 miles but fitbit says 18 flights of stairs on the dunes. I kind of don't believe that. It was fun. Only a few dog encounters that were not an issue. DS

And Hey Cecily, years ago a friend of mine took a trip to New Zealand. Met up with a man - a teacher escorting students on a camping trip. She joined up with their group. Things got serious and they have now been married 25 years. They go back there often. My bucket list too. Diane S

I had a hairdresser once who met a guy on vacation there and married him and moved there. They raise lambs on a big farm! Maybe my Prince Charming is waiting for me there. Preferably he plays rugby for the All Blacks... Hubba hubba.

Let's hear it for the All Blacks!!!
