Weight 119.4, calories 784. My weight is 1.2 pounds more than on this day last year, so considering that I've been running about 1 pound more for the last few months it isn't too bad. I still am going to try to eat very much on plan for the next week to reduce carb cravings and get back into my weight range.
I had problems falling asleep last night and was up before 6 this morning. Not terrible for the eve of travel. At least we don't have to change flights or catch a bus when we get home (BIL is picking us up). We leave here around noon and should be at home on the Cape around 10:30 tonight.
Have a satisfying Saturday!
To Paula: I'm sure the celebration of Ben's life will be beautiful and moving. It will mean a lot ultimately to you and your sons to hear and see how many people Ben had an impact on in his life.
A few last day pictures:

Paula, we will all be there with you in spirit for the celebration of Ben's life. May all of the people sharing in this special tribute, support and sustain you. Liz, I can't believe three weeks is up ! Safe travels !
Sadie is doing MUCH better ! Her ears are almost back to normal and the former bumps over her body look mostly like little saggy areas of wrinkle, as they subside. We meet our new vet two towns over (1/2 hour away) Monday, as he returns from vacation. He will check both Sadie and Atlas, and make some recommendations as to regular dog food to reintroduce Atlas to (he's been on special gastro Rx diet) that would have the least impact on Sadie if she inadvertently licks his bowl or eats his poop. We ordered a canoe ! I am an avid kayaker, who sold hers to move out here. DH tried kayaking and hates it, as the kayak feels unstable to him. I never came close to flipping mine, but I am very secure in the water, lifeguarding, teaching swimming, and coaching swim teams through high school and college. I'm sure another kayak is in my near future. I love investigating nooks and crannies, seeing the beautiful homes from the water side, as well as the opportunity for solitude.
Find something about your life to celebrate today !

Now, that's a scale number that makes me smile. :)
Paula, I'm thinking of you and your boys. I'm wishing for you on this long day strength and peace. And am sending you many gentle hugs.
Liz, I've got to say how HAWT you look in that bikini. Man, I wish I had your tummy! But, since I don't, I'm glad you have it. :)
Diane, good news about Sadie and the canoe. I understand DH's anxiety about a kayak (a real one, the kind you sit down inside, not the flat styrofoam ones I sit on top of and float down rivers around here). It seems to me like the perfect transportation mode around your beautiful lake.
Here it's supposed to be a drippy weekend, which is fine with me. Later this morning I have to make decisions about outside trim paint for the house beautification projects, which makes me nervous. I do NOT have any visual design skills, so am relying on my contractors' recommendations. Her husband is an artist and has always been a good guide for me in the past on decisions like this, so I know it'll work out fine. Still ... decision anxiety.
And that's all the news that's fit to print.

I like seeing what others do for recess. I can't help but notice that your recess is a 1000x's more productive than my recess.
This weekend, my dad is going to give my husband tips on sharpening knives with some new gizmo in our garage. They seem awfully happy about this upcoming event.

LOL! Boys are so easy to entertain. When they get grumpy, just send them off to Ace Hardware.

Bye-bye, pretty Aruba pictures. Safe travels!
154.4 Coming up for a bit of air today. House in flux--bathroom redo in progress so everything is everywhere. Today and tomorrow are days of relative rest. DH and I frantically worked long hrs painting, prepping and installing trim in between floors and plumbers doing their thing. Plumber was supposed to reinstall yesterday, but- no- not till Monday. If I had known... will be glad when it is finished. Have vowed that only 1/2 of the stuff goes back. How junk accumulates...
Am so happy to hear the pups are on the mend. Little Noodle has added another hour to her day napping. Hoping that is due to current chaotic house coping-she sleeps a lot these days.
Water, water everywhere. I would be happy to have an old inner tube--(meaning there would be some water to put it into--pond-stream-puddle of any kind).
Ann--I hear Watermelon is a very popular color this year--Yah, go with a watermelon colored trim!
DH and DS#1 off to the big city for a soccer weekend. I see a relaxing book and nap in my near future. Tomorrow is a good visit with old friends I haven't seen in -oh, maybe a few years or so-BTH (before the hibernation)-
Thoughts and love your way, Paula. Peace.
