Thanks for all your thoughts from yesterday. There's so much to learn from everyone's posts. Y'all are such thoughtful, kind people.
Yesterday I observed that ladies' teas are not protein-forward. Given what I was presented with, I didn't do badly.
I'm starting to pack for my upcoming trip and trying very hard NOT to take 125 pounds of luggage this time.
Today's plans include a rain dance. The weatherman has predicted odds of rain the next few days at 55-65%. Come on moisture!
Today's theme (it never gets old): Be here now.

Good morning!
I regret I have just skimmed the last few days.
I covered my eyes to protect them from Carbon's local horror.
Apparently Cecily-the-Poo's underwear is a topic. (Have new small ones been purchased for the new bum?)
M150 has promised us a memoir, yea!
Peps has started tracking! Weight on scale is neutral data!!!
Sadie! Sadie! I'm so sorry! DianeO, hoping those pups are doing better.
DianeS, OMG, you are so right, this group knows more about this stuff than most the population. (My 56 year old BIL just learned about nutrition label shenanigans!).
BB, hearts to you as you navigate mom-child life balance.
Justice, mom will be home soon!
Dave, hoping that Adalyn's ears are better.
Ann was generous with her presence for which we are all grateful. May you enjoy some Seattle style rain.
And Paula, that man of yours was accomplished in every area of his life. Thinking of you all as the COL approaches.
Meanwhile, back in the suburbs, look at the calendar! It is almost summer solstice! Be here now.

Weight 120.4 (!), calories 1558. Strict eating to plan will be required upon our return home. Luckily there will be another 10 days after we return until July 4 celebrations commence.
Yesterday we went sailing, swimming, and lunch eating on a sailboat named Tranquillo. It was the best boat cruise we've done in our 9 visits to Aruba. A picture of the lagoon we anchored in is below. For some reason, DH was crying on the way back (no one saw but me). I don't know what that was about. Maybe having two alcoholic drinks in mid-day? He was fine the rest of the day and I doubt he will remember it, though sometimes he gets melancholy when he is percolating some paranoid idea in his head. I hope that's not the situation.
At night there was a fantastic sunset on the beach. We rarely see these at this time of year in Aruba. I can count on one hand the number of sunsets worth noting in our times here. I took so many pictures of it I had a hard time deciding which one to upload, but did pick one.
One of our friends leaves tomorrow as she is going to Denver for her daughters wedding shower. There will be a ****tail party on the beach tonight for her last night. Maybe the sun will give us another show!
Have a well Wednesday!

DH was crying again this morning... He said he cried yesterday because so much is different because of his Dementia (and he was frustrated this morning). I think the strain of travel (even this relaxing kind) possibly makes him more emotional.

I'm so sorry to hear that.
I don't have nearly the experience with this as you do, but I notice my grandmother and uncle (uncle has alzheimers, grandmother probably dementia) both seem more flustered after travel or really any disruption to their routine.
That being said, I'm glad you're going out and doing while you can.
I just saw on Facebook that today is David's birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOUNG MAN!
