Yes, I noticed the raspberries trumping my blackberries. Darn. But, I just don't love raspberries.

Hello ! Transitioned Atlas from canned prescription bland food to my rice and chicken Friday night and his vomiting resumed. I swallowed my pride and went to the local vet I left, for a case of the canned food he tolerated so well. You do what you have to do. It took twelve hours, but we are back on track. Sadie is progressing to a mixture of chicken/rice and her regular Zignature kibble. After Paula's update yesterday, I only posted on Diane's to thread.
Ann, your home spruce up sounds so fun ! How great you have a contractor who knows the house ! Yes, honey Cecily, please give us an update ! Liz...enjoy your remaining time in Aruba. The Cape will be hot and sunny when you return. Shel..loved your fiber/glucose chart ! Totally love avocados too. Dave, hope the farming continues to go smoothly. Love all of the rest of you too ! The long back lawn beckons !!

Weight in compression: 155 something. I forget.
No new openings since a week ago Saturday, so that's great. Everything else is pretty much the same.
A family friend invited me to their family Sunday dinner tonight, but I don't really want to go. I like them all, but I'm like Goldilocks when it comes to chairs these days. Too upright, too hard, too low, too soft - all end up really uncomfortable for me really fast or I can't get in them or out of them. And I can't lean forward over my plate at a table without feeling like I'm ripping open the holes in my back. So I'm in constant danger of spilling on myself. It's all just awkward and makes me anxious to think about. Normal still feels so far away.
Anyway, enough of that. Sending out good Sunday vibes to all of you.
Not much here.
Love and prayers for Paula and the boys.
Shel, love the photos! Such beauty by which to be surrounded!
Diane O. glad Atlas is on the mend. Chicken is not always the best choice for doggy digestive systems. Vets often apply people nutrition philosophies and gut systems to dogs. Chicken can be a "hot" food for many canines, meaning it is harder to digest and, though "bland" not an easy food to digest. My go to for a bad tummy that needs resetting is overcooked white rice and a soft cooked egg - must be whole egg. Give that a try and see if that works. You can also use overcooked oatmeal. Some dogs prefer the oatmeal. Both offer little nutrition to the dog, but offer good carbohydrate energy. Check the protein content on the can of food from the vet. It's probably around 8% protein. You can probably create a better, more nutritional food from scratch. You might also try adding a soft cooked egg to the canned food to up the protein content.
Cecily, I just noticed to day you had a fat transfer to your caboose! Is that the reason you have issues with sitting for long periods?
Ann, I'm still smiling about nekkid deck yoga! It is something I would do, just cuz.
TATTOOS - I am toying with the idea of getting one. ACK! Ron will have a ****! But I'm sort of intrigued. I am thinking about an Airedale on my calf. Then I started looking at dog tattoos online and sort of lost interest because I realized what a gifted artist one needs. So, how do you find a good artist and a clean one, too boot?
FWIW, about clean tattoo shop....DD and her friend had piercings here. They offer tattoos, too.
The shop reminded me of our local piercing/tattoo shop that has such a great reputation. The day we were there, person running the front end knew of my girl's shop and there was some conversation that both stores are run the same way (high quality jewelry, emphasis on aftercare/health/cleanliness)
Most shops have lots of examples of their artists' work....maybe just start browsing

I don't think the fat transfer plays a role. First off, I don't think much of it took. My sitting issues are more about getting into and out of chairs and the angle at which I sit. I still sit at a recline as sitting upright pulls on my back incisions, but then most of my weight is propped against the back top of the chair along my upper back and my lower back is hanging in space. I can't sit like that for long. So I'm not butt uncomfortable, I'm angle uncomfortable compounded by the chair I'm in. I can do a movie seat because they are soft, high, and lean at a good angle. A regular kitchen table chair is the worst. And I'm so tall that dropping into a very low chair (including a sedan seat) is like dropping into the abyss.
I looked for online reviews and looked into how long the shop had been there. The site had a background description for each of the artists and a wide sample of their work. If you have a picture of a tattoo you want (like I did), they should be able to re-create it fairly easily. The signature in the middle of mine was traced from a picture I took off of a greeting card Elise gave me. You need a real artist whose original work includes tattoos that you like if you want them to do an original creation. Here is the picture I gave my "artist" plus the result (she does do original work too, some of which is not tattoos, btw):
