Thank you all for your heartfelt words. Funny how we can have such deep relationships with people we have never met in person. Love you all.

And here is the REST of the post I made this morning, but that our OH message board did not publish. (I don't know why it does that sometimes, but ....)

My weight is up to 134.8 this morning. Yes, I've indulged in ice cream a few times this month and been more sociable, which has put me in eating situations where I can't control the choices as well as I can at home. But I'm also beginning to wonder if the weight lifting I'm doing in physical therapy lately might also be a factor. If so, that's not a bad thing. As I journaled this morning, this coming week my plan is to keep daily carbs below 150, skip a few days of wine, and stay 500 yards away from any ice cream. Nutritious foods for me. :)

I'm making plans for some home beautification projects this summer - repainting porches, decks, window trim, replacing the porch ceiling, etc. The house is 15 years old and in great shape. But it's time to spruce up the joint. I can tell by the way I'm anticipating the changes that this is a very good thing. More about all that later. BTW, the contractor who built our house will be in charge of all these projects. She and her husband (who works with her) know EVERYTHING about the house, so it couldn't be a more ideal contractor relationship.

Tomorrow I go to The Big City for my monthly therapy appointment, which I'm looking forward to a lot. This past month has brought many restorative changes, and I want to process those tomorrow. It'll be a long day, but I'll be happy to get off the mower. ;) Speaking of which, I need to get out there and finish the job--until next weekend. :)

Oh--and a friend and I are going to see The Book Club this afternoon. :)

And it's 13 more days until I fly to Venice. I love how that sounds!

Today's theme: This is the day the Lord hath made ... let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Just realized I posted this on Ben's thread. Didn't mean to do that.
