Greetings My Precious Peeps
Well here it is. Glaring red numbers reading 150 this morning. I so hate this. I even forced myself to take a walk at the bird sanctuary yesterday to get steps beyond my usual sloth level. Fortunately, the pizza is now gone and I will make a healthy protein rich dinner tonight. Not much more to be said on this subject.
It rained here too last night. Carbon, what is it about bad weather that makes us want to make cookies? I used to do that in big snow storms. And yeah, we sometimes run our furnace in July since we live next to the world's biggest air conditioner.
Hey Dave, good for you for dropping a few and getting the work done. Hope that means your procedures were successful. Don't your chickens know about that expression of "going to bed with the chickens" meaning early. I guess we are approaching the longest day of the year.
Hey Liz, what did the refrigerator repair man do for your new fridge? Mine is making this rattling noise a lot and its new too. Have fun in Aruba and make a sand castle for us.
Diane O, lovely place to walk and enjoy. Nothing so relaxing as gazing a****er. Or cows. Or flowers.
Interesting Ann that you feel energized after the ice cream orgy. I am sure it has nothing to do with the nutritional properties of ice cream. Or could it.....? All I can say is that I maintained well for 5 years and then the slip sliding began. A few crackers, extra glass of wine, stopped tracking and there you have it. Note to self: start tracking again.
Cecily I read your plastics post and so feel for you. I rushed recovery on a hand surgery a few years back and am still paying the price. So let mother nature do her job even if she is slow. I feel for you and wish there was a better way.
Garage saleing. Not my thing. When I first moved here I had a new friend and her idea of a good time was to go around all day to all the thrift stores and go through everything. I would quickly get bored. The little town of Ferndale here has an annual garage sale which is the entire town. My idea of hell. Yesterday I took a laundry basket of stuff back to a thrift store which was stuff I acquired years ago while on these ventures and kept in a plastic tub for years. Today's de-junking mission will be to take a bunch of 20 year old art magazines to the recycle.
Well time for more coffee and to reflect on the day. And think of Paula. Diane S.
On the refrigerator, it was some part between the refrigerator and freezer are where the air is exchanged. That's all I know!
