I had forgotten about the nuclear bomb scare. That gives me hope that we and the kiddos will get by this trauma.

The other day you commented about your studio being a happy, positive place. That is so true x1000. Every single person you introduced me to seemed authentically happy to be there. I just loved the energy of that space.

And....about exercise and the ability to use one's legs to get on and off the toilet. The Y's advertisement for Seniors used to show a group class demonstrating the "Honey Bucket Hover." I didn't realize until I read your post how important that maneuver is for that population. I thought is was only about avoiding direct contact with the toilets at trail heads -- cuz no one wants that!

I have crappy knees and do sitting / standing exercises nearly every day. There's a way to sit and stand (by sticking your butt out before sitting and as you stand) that really helps you do that motion more powerfully.

It's an important motion to appreciate when you get old.

And yes, as Devon says, I resemble that remark. :)

Ben and Jerry's is evil. I ate somewhere between a a 1/3 and a 1/2 pint one day last week and got dumping symptoms from hell. I know us VSGers are not supposed to dump but then what the hell was the flushing, sweating, nausea, palpitations all about right after eating said ice cream! I gave the rest to the boys and hope to remember my reaction next time the Piggly Wiggly has B&Js on sale!

Decline for Ben continues. He is now on a Fentanyl patch which seems to be controlling his pain better. Also makes him a bit loopy and he sleeps with his eyes half open which is creepy.

Yes, Fentanyl is weird! Dear Hubby was on that about 3 years ago for a short time.

Paula, I think about you and Ben every hour of the day, wondering how it's going. No need to respond about that. Just saying that you're almost constantly in my thoughts.
