Weight: 152.4 Managed to get a nekkid one. Either my suit weighs 2 pounds or I lost some more. I have to think I was in middle school the last time I saw that number. But my face looks sunken, so I don't want to get used to this number.
I'm in a holding pattern, knock on wood. My openings haven't gotten worse and no new ones have emerged. I got my hair done yesterday which made me feel more human and look less skunk. And I drove myself the 30 minutes each way with no problems. Yay me.
I got my absentee ballot to the post office today. Lots of little city measures on there I felt the need to weigh in on. And had to cast any vote for governor that wasn't for one of the two likely contenders I really dislike.
I had to get up at 5:20 this morning because my knee hurt so bad. I'm a side sleeper and apparently I compensate for not being able to do that by ****ing my left knee at weird angles that cause heaps of pain after a few hours. But it's the least of my body worries right now!
This afternoon I'm headed to my first fun outing in a month. I'm going to see Book Club with my friends. Wish me luck that the seats are at a comfortable angle and that if I have to tinkle I get out of my suit fast enough and don't drop my pants so far I can't reach them!
Happy Tuesday all!
Have a great time! I want to see that movie too but haven't had a chance yet.

Cecily, with all those outings you must feel like you're out of prison -- or at least living at a Halfway House with street privileges and an early curfew.
And please give us a movie review of the Book Club film. My group is talking about going together.

Hi guys,
Busy, busy me. Bit of a heaping mess this...shrink was hard...got a combo class (3/4) possibility dumped on me at 3:00 pm at the very same time the parent community was sent an email telling of the same possibility. Thanks for that advanced notice! LOL! Anyway, YUCK! (To me a 3/4 combo has got to be the ultimate worst combo class of all!)
Weight is pretty much the same. Not up, not down. Not sure who quoting someone from the main board said it here yesterday (or today), but most of the food I'm eating ain't because I'm hungry, so it's not fixing a damn thing! Gotta love that.
Shrink session was hard in a good way, but I'm feeling a bit raw. I"m not 100% sure of the lead in, but during our conversation about me not really "knowing who I am" in regard to weight and size -especially the smaller version of me- she asked me why getting to know that person was scary to me. My reply? Oh, it's rich! I said something like, "Well, when you have an ideal and you realize it's someone else, it's not you, you can not possibly achieve that ideal, how do you decide what you're really supposed to be?" I don't know who I am other than someone battling his weight to become something he can never be. Is it any wonder why I have had no long term success with weight maintenance?
I loved reading all the posts from yesterday and today. Such positive and hopeful and cheery posts. Thank you for that.
My thoughts stray to Spencerella tonight. It was she who got me thinking about physical identity.
Hope you liked the movie Cecily. I loved it.
Paula, thinking of you.
Liz, ARGH!!!!!! Hate doctors who are so, so terribly inconsiderate!
Diane O. Glad Mr. Atlas de nutting went well. But how can he still be called Atlas without his jewels? It seems incongruent...LOL!
Diane S. how great that you are upping your movement! Way to go!
BB - yay Becca!
Report cards are done, but Dottie needs to be washed and trimmed. It's only 8:15! Plenty of day left.....
