Wow- you are brave taking your new knee out and abou among "them" that might invite you to ask said knee to do some- say necessary - jogging. I might venture as far as a stroll through a petting zoo---maybe. Seriously though, well done, knee!

155.6. Fickle scale. I must be the source of great amusement when the scales gather together over donuts and coffees and relate just how funny it is to jack with their owners - I am convinced that mine daily and arbitrarily pulls some number out of its - dare I say, ass, regardless of what I do or do not eat. Remember, bonnie, trends....trends..over,,,time...

Am happy to report that Noodle's wibble-wobbling has decreased and she is back to her old self--mostly sleeping and occasionally following us as we move from room to room around the house...sweet old thing. She is, by far the best (of many) good dogletts we have had over the years.

Live well today in every way.

I bet you're right! I bet our scales really do get together and laugh about how badly they're messing with us.

They are little *******s! I actually cussed at my scales last week. When I walked out of the bathroom I thought maybe I overreacted. Then thought no he asked for it.

LOL, just imagining the scales at their scale union hall strategizing about how to mess with our heads. How can a little lump of electronics be so aggravating. Oh wait, there is the cell phone....ds

Greetings Tuesday Terrifics

149.5 today. Not much but its good to get back from the 150. I went back to my old people's exercise class yesterday. Felt good even though I realize what an out of shape person I am. The only thing that hurt last night was my hands. Need to take my padded gloves and my little soft weights.

Local election today so I still have to study all the ballot measures so I don't have to read them in the voting booth.

Boy, Dr. waiting can sure be annoying. It seems like eye doctors are among the worst and yet it seems the timing of their appointments should easier because they are less likely to have emergencies. Our internist runs himself ragged so I try to be patient. I overheard him joking with his staff about taking a so called lunch hour which is only 10 minutes.

Carbon be careful out there walking through the wild animal park. We are glad you can walk without a cane so you are making progress. Hope you got a good night's sleep.

BB, big day for you, Becca and family. Hope Becca adjusts to day care and you enjoy being back to work. I thought of you the other day when I saw a young mother out with her infant in one of those strollers that allows mom to jog.

Glad you got to the pool Ann. I need to check out the pool at my gym. Or at least the hot tub.

Not much planned other than the usual banking and accounting chores of studio and gallery. And of course playing with clay. DH is having some dental work done and has requested soft food for dinner. Yay, scrambled eggs are easy enough. Don't even have to look up a recipe.

Stay safe and peaceful all. Diane S

Ha! I was just looking up jogging strollers! Don't want to wear out my day-to-day one prematurely.

Good for you in going back to the gym. I'm finally at a place of thinking of the gym/moving my body as an expression of self-love. And maybe even fun. Only took me 8 years past surgery! (But it was a lot of work rewriting what 10 years of gym classes and all that entailed did to my mindset about it). It doesn't have to be vigorous. Just anything to get the blood flowing, and those muscles moving. And I definitely say reward yourself with a hottub, sauna, pool. Maybe a nice infused water afterwards. Make it spa-like. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

I love scrambled eggs, but no one can cook them like my grandmommy :) I've learned from her that a little bit of butter and low low heat is the key. And take them off when just before done because they overcook so quickly. She makes breakfast quite an art!

BB, I like the way you're thinking about the gym right now. I'm really into rewards at the moment -- for good behavior or just because getting a prize is really fun. :)

Go for it. :)
