Argh. One step forward, two steps back. A scab in the front of my body lift incision just opened with yellow gunk coming out. Another pic to the surgeon. Sigh.

I can't imagine traveling to another state for this kind of surgery. What would you do when stuff like this happens?

Greetings Friday Funsters

148.5 today. Had early gallery duty so didn't have time to post. Lots of visitors there today which makes the time go by. Pleasant visits with my co-artists too. These two weekends are the open studios time where local artists open their studios to the public. Fun to go and look at where other people do stuff. And the tourist season is upon us. I spent the rest of the afternoon at the studio glazing boxer shorts shot glasses.

Absorb energy is a good idea rather than being drained of it. I have a pretty good idea of what my "energy vampires" are but can't always avoid them. I often think that feeling drained of energy was a big part of my overeating.

Dave, sorry you lost your power. In our rural area power outages are common. DH had a device that you could connect to your car battery and run a CPAP. His sister used one also. Rest up.

Cecily, glad to read you are on the mend but sorry for the setback. Who would have thought doing laundry could be a joy.

Garden BB? There is so much to study and learn. Veggies or flowers? Annuals or perrenials? One low maintenance thing I like is ornamental grasses. Lots of them and they look good in winter snow too. Just be careful not to select anything toxic for Becca's sake. We always check on toxicity to our dogs. Order the catalog from High Country Gardens - its a cool thing to look through for ideas.

Shrimp and veggies tonight.

Well I washed the new haircut last night, did virtually nothing to it, and it survived pretty well.

Thats about it. Time for a glass of wine. Diane S

I am late!

Ceceily...update when you get a chance? Fingers crossed that the surgeon declared today's oozing as totally normal.

BB....just noticed you were talking non-vege's garden. I am no help there but you also mentioned once wanting herbs in garden? A cook like you needs herbs in garden!

Have a good night all! Paula, extra hugs! Are you able to sleep?

Shel
