Good morning ! Got all of the weed wacking done and lawns mowed yesterday. Great for both my mental and physical health!! A day of rain today, then three days to finish painting barns (shed and playhouse) before I get my nails done next week. Sadie and I have our monthly therapy team visit today, and one more weekly visit tomorrow, both at local elementary schools. Expecting the delivery of my Mother's Day Peach Dish meals from my daughters today. Made a great salad with watermelon, tomatoes, feta, onion and Balsamic we had with grilled salmon and sea scallops last night. I can't wait until my garden and local markets offer locally grown fruits and vegetables !!
Stay away from baboons, cougars and refined sugar as we forge ahead !!

Weight 118.4, calories 1028. Sodium was very high and I need a good bathroom trip (feeling bloated). I had these Al Fresco tomato and basil chicken meatballs with sauce over riced cauliflower last night. Really good! But, I ate a mozzarella/prosciutto stick for lunch on the road and that was the biggest sodium hit (790 mg with 120 calories).
Sleep was elusive last night. DH was up once an hour. He was keyed up looking for things yesterday. He did find the credit card which had been missing for a month though he can't remember where he found it.
We saw the neurologist yesterday and he confirmed progression (yep!) and decided against addding Namenda yet because it mostly helps with memory loss. Though DH has that too his issues are mostly with communication. He gave me the label for it: Locopenic varient primary progressive aphasia (LVPPA)
Today I should start getting my planter ready for tomatoes, maybe start power washing, and I should do some housecleaning as we have some company coming for dinner tomorrow night. I am not enthused by any of these options...
Have a tool utilizing Tuesday!

Please imagine this liberally peppered with the F word and sobs...
My good friends rearranged their days to drive me up to what ended up to be a 5pm appointment. It's 60 miles each way from my house in LA rush hour traffic. The office person had told me they all leave at 5, so we would need to stand in the hallway until the doctor showed up. We make prettty good time up there and are literally getting off the freeway at his exit when she calls and tells me he won't be able to make it.
I was speechless. She said she can fit me in tomorrow at 2. i said, but I already had an appointment tomorrow at 11! Oh she gave that away. All I could say was, you're kidding over and over. She finally said I could still come at 11.
So I burst into tears for the 3rd time today and start apologizing profusely to my friends as we get off the freeway and back on in the other direction to head home.
Total time in the car for absolutely nothing: 3 and a half hours. And I am now a double-booked appointment at my original time tomorrow. And I still have infected incisions. I could not be more disappointed with how he runs his office.
