Greetings Sunday Worshipers
Yeah I used to worship Sundays and not by going to church. My worship was sleeping in. Still is. But I need to get busy as some gallery remodeling is going on which I need to look at.
Ann what a great luncheon! So midwestern! Fried chicken, corn, potatoes and cake. My favorite childhood restaurant had the best fried chicken and onion rings! They would bring you a few shreds of anemic lettuce as a salad which I would heap with blue cheese dressing. No wonder I got so fat. Yesterday I bought a big package of cauliflower "rice" which will be dinner tonight along with some little chicken apple sausages. Times have changed.
Yep Liz, sounds like Justice needs some recreation. Its cloudy here but no rain so our dogs will get walked.
Cecily so glad you are on the mend. And glad you could arrange for Fergie to stay at "camp" for a few more days. You need your rest.
Well after yesterdays posts, I had to go look up a picture of Oprah at the wedding since I didn'****ch it. Nice dress. I can't tell if her weight is up or down because I don't pay that much attention. But if she gained 100 pounds I guess I would notice.
Dinner last night was the little chicken apple sausages plus spinach. I was cruising the natural foods store and picked up a carton of bone broth. "sipping broth" it says. (as opposed to slurping). Anyway I thought I would try it as a protein source.
BB so glad you have a tutu for Becca. Every girl needs several. What a great 10 week picture. She is growing and changing so much!
Peps have fun at the dog show. For years that was my weekend recreation and social time. But my dogs were not as successful as yours.
Diane O so glad Atlas is learning his duties. It never occurred to me that a therapy dog would learn to respond to nightmares but it makes perfect sense. I once had a terrible nightmare that someone had killed my dog and when I woke up and realized it was a dream I got up and got that dog out of her crate and brought her to my bed.
Well I tried for an hour the other day to post a picture here but gave up. I have done it before but can't recall how. Got some advice from OH so I will try again. Shel love the flower pictures and the enchanted forest. Ewoks are out there.
Well time for coffee and to do something useful. Cheers all Diane S

Weight: I had a friend bring a scale downstairs yesterday. Dressed in my full compression garment, nightshirt, drains/bag, 10 maxi pads (as bandages) plus painter's tape to hold them together and breakfast I was 160.6. Not too shabby on the swelling front I think.
I had a great time last night. My friends came over with nibbles and dessert and we watched a movie (Game Night, which is hysterical). I'm getting around better every day. And no more accidents!!!! Thank God!
So things are looking up...
Happy Sunday!
I'm glad you had a fun night. You needed that!
Your weight is amazing. You might have lost more than 11 pounds from your pre-surgery weight...

Cecily, I'm so glad you're feeling better and progressing so well. You must be so encouraged, not only by the scales but your obvious recovery. Yea!!!
