Weight unknown

Liz-love the tattoo but moreover the meaning!

Bonnie-Hi! I'm Bonnie ;) I always think it's a rare name but then I meet so many Bonnies!

I'm definitely feeling heavy recently. Idk if it's reality, or it being summer + being in Florida (more bare skin) or what. Of course vacation is a hard time to reign it in. BIL also is pretty compulsive about buying food and having it around. But the issue is mine. Turns out that though I can turn down treats at my own house, being out of a schedule and around other people eating them makes it very difficult to say no!! (I'm looking at you, peanut m&M's)

We are now in Miami and picked up some healthy foods to cook. We got some salmon, sweet potatoes and broccoli to cook one evening. Then some shrimp and pesto pasta and I'll add any leftover broccoli to that. Then the fixins for chicken tacos and rice. Plus eggs and sausage and toast for breakfast. Not the picture of health, but a lot better than the fast food crap and chips I've been surviving on.

Becca has had many firsts! First plane ride, first long car ride, and today first pool time!! She's being an amazing baby. Continuing to sleep 8 hrs. most nights!! We're trying to relax, but always hard to do that with the job uncertainty. He'll probably have a new job in a couple weeks and we'll regret not having fully indulged in vacay mode! But in the meantime we're starting to become more accepting about the idea of relocating to Houston or him commuting back and forth (perhaps just for the time being) especially if he can do some work remotely. It's not ideal, especially with an infant. And ultimately we'll all be in the same place. But still hoping that same place ultimately will be where my practice and family is and where our house and friends and history are!
