Greetings Thursday Thinkers

148.5. This is not a good trend. There have been fancy mixed nuts around the studio and it seems the only one eating them is me. I take carrots and jerky and eat that too. At least I went over and replaced my lost gym card. I can at least do the lower body weights and will do so today. First a trip to the thrift store donation department is in order. A laundry basket full accumulated over a week.

Lots of great posts yesterday here. I am still rereading them. Diane O is right that its all about the moment. And Shel too on the protein forward thing. I may work up to trying one of those shakes I bought the other day.

Well I had to look at the roll up link to even know what it was. Haven't tried it yet. Maybe at the gym on their padded areas.

BB you are doing so great weight wise. 5 pounds after giving birth is nuthin'. You are doing great approaching 8 years.

DH is making progress on the garage clean out; the electric car being motivation and need to make room to install the charger unit.

Thinking of you Cecily and upcoming surgery. Hope you will give all the details. We love hearing about this stuff.

Liz glad you are replacing an unsafe deck. We are going to get ours power washed and sealed later in the summer. Wi**** could be sooner but our guy is busy.

Not much other news here. Maybe I will think of something insightful after a second cup of coffee. Diane S

Thanks, Diane! I will be sure to share. The sharing on pain meds might be fun if mildly incoherent!

I'd make someone take the nuts home or introduce them to a garbage can. It's so hard to stay away from tasty snacks that are just sitting there in view. Out of sight, out of mind.

LOL! Maybe I was lucky that I was somewhat nauseous from the pain medication that day (so stopped taking the opiate after that)!

Weight 167.2

I got my hair done today and heading to therapy in a few minutes. My house is cleaning people clean - yay!

Otherwise, same stuff on my to-do list. Closet restocking and setting up for post-surgery.

i do have one fun think coming up. My friend who got me into mat Pilates also does reformer Pilates once a week. I'm going to do my first reformer class with her on Monday. It looks like torture equipment, but she says it's fun. I shall report back!

Liz, we did the deck at the Michigan cottage in that Treks composite decking. It has held up really well. The only maintenance in the last 6 years has been power washing moss off of it in the spring.

So glad people are having fun with the rollups! I'll have to pass on a move of the week or something...

I'm planning on doing the Treks as well. Our front porches and lower deck are Treks so we will match them.
