Weight 167.4 One day of good eating and the 3.4 pounds hanging ariund for 2 days is gone. Note to self, do that more
Woohoo! My closets are in. They were here until after 9 last night and still need to come back for a few things (trim, putting on some hinges, some light touch up paint). What an improvement! Here are the pics:
Before, two small walk-ins with one rod and unhelpful shelves between the two closets where things would get pushed from one side and fall off the other side. Weak lighting. I don't have a dresser, so folded clothes that make up most of my wardrobe were a problem. Shoes ended up in a giant pile.
After, shelves and hanging space and lighting galore!
I'm going to wait until they do their touch ups Monday to reload, but I'm so excited with how it turned out.
Happy Sundays to all! Thinking of Ann on her cruise and hoping she's having a great time...
Love it! I'm jealous- I don't even have the room to do that!

Greetings Sunday Celebrators
148 today. Yesterday was rather slothful even though I got a lot done in terms of laundry, junk sorting and general debris removal. But for every pound of paper that goes, 10 more show up.
Shel, interesting about the cardiologists. I knew this one years ago. Delightful guy. Big fat and jolly and used to smoke and collected thousands of dollars worth of wine. His mother lived well into 90's so I think he had the good genes. Yeah, if they can't practice good lifestyle, who can? My internist seems to practice what he preaches. Ditto Dr. Cirangle. I wish my transfer addiction was exercise instead of worrying about dumb stuff.
But its amazing how much difference some sunlight makes. We have it today and all seems right with the world. Yesterday was gloomy and rainy. No wonder people move to Arizona.
BB, glad dear Becca is honoring you by sleeping well. Good luck in Florida. I am hopeful that something good will turn up for your DH.
Dave you are indeed a worker bee. It is indeed satisfying to do something with ones hands. More so than brain work.
Liz, glad you and DH talked some things out. I am sure you are prepared to do this over and over. Thats what I used to have to do with crazy Pat and even though we went over the same questions, she appreciated being treated like an adult though she didn't act like one. Justice is your therapy dog.
Well studio duty today. We are having our spring sale and I will cashier for a bit. More junk removal. With about 300 pieces a week coming out of the kilns, stuff tends to add up. The good stuff goes home. The junk stays in orbit like space junk and lands somewhere unexpected.
I ate a health food store frozen "bowl" dinner last night. 240 calories allegedly but I added cheese. Not bad at all. But I am not getting enough protein and thats part of my regain. Shel how do the veggie cardiologists get enough? Anybody try pea protein?
Have a good one all. Coffee all around. Diane S

I tried one scoop out of a ginormous vanilla pea protein container (I didn't realize that's what I was buying, but thought, what the hell, give it a try). It was nasty and the rest went in the garbage. But I don't like protein shakes on the best days and only drink them grudgingly like post VSG surgery and now for plastics.
There must be a way to be vegan and get enough protein. I just haven't seen a lot of healthy looking vegans and vegetarians so I think it's a science to get it right and it's easy to do it wrong.
My rather roomy handbag got attn from two tsa people because they saw something suspicious. It was like a magic act as the pulled out item after item after item. Suspicious item turned out to be bag of carrots at bottom of bag. They both laughed. One said Girl, that is a LOT of carrots!
