I am so sorry both of you are going through this. Such a blow to your husband's ego and obviously anxiety producing. Right now I'm sure it doesn't help to say that it will probably work out in the end. As you said, a little time will help (and some interviews). It is amazing to me how many people have had this happen recently. One has to question whether this is going to make for a healthy workforce overall.

David, placebo or not, a positive effect is a positive effect! Ride it as long as you can.

Liz, hope you enjoy your yoga! Try mat Pilates sometime is you can. I think you'd like it if you like the yoga.

Today I have my pre-op appointment with the PS in Beverly Hills. Wish me luck with the traffic especially coming home... Then painting class tonight.

Yesterday I went to the Pasadena Design House with a friend. It was 12,000 sq ft, built in the 1920s. Spanish style outside with loads of shady oak trees on the property and throughly modern inside, which isn't my style. But it was pretty and we had a nice time.

My closet is half empty for the install this weekend. And then I have to put it all back

Gotta go get dressed. Have a good day all!

Greetings Adventurous ones

Still at 148 after an adventure with bacon. No carbs though. I did eat a few Hershy Kisses that were from a favor from wedding. Felt sick. Enough of that.

So many adventures to read here today! She those pix are astonishing. I can see why its the recommended best hike even if you did have to dress up like a duck. But yow I never would have walked the chain trail. Scary. Good for you for doing it. I met some people at the gallery who had just done the Fern Canyon hike that you did and they loved it.

Dave glad the CBD oil works. Maybe I will check it out. I have a tincture someone gave me but don't know much about it. I also have a creme that I find soothing for my hands.

And Diane O, I am glad your adventure is over. Take care of those knees! Lots of people around here use canabanoids for pain management. I never have but wouldn't hesitate.

Liz, good on you for skipping the lunch. Nothing says you have to accept all invitations. Love hearing that Chiquita has a new friend.

BB so sorry about the lay off. What a rotten thing and stressful too. Here's hoping things work out for the best and something better comes along.

Yesterday's gallery day was not so bad. A fair amount of visitors kept me from my crossword puzzle duty. Some really funny people who were having a good time on their visit to little Trinidad. Maybe a little canabis experience.

Time to face the day but first need more coffee fortification. Diane S

Sorry, BB, about DH's layoff. Booooooo!

Weight was down over a pound today. I'll take it.

I am sleepy. I am wondering if it because there is no Vyvanse coursing through my system keeping me perky. Hey, maybe I will sleep better because of it? Who knows. That would be nice.

Ron works in the same district as I. He had a conversation with our Superintendent after the meeting at his building/site/school yesterday. So nice..... they discussed me. Ron came and gave me his two cents and his take. Put me in a foul, foul mood. When I told him I was upset, he became upset blaming himself for getting me upset, refused to eat dinner and took a bath and then went to bed without even saying goodnight. REALLY? Sometimes I think marriage is overrated! LOL!

I am too sleepy I find to think much more about anything of significance right now. Seems I'm having a woozy Wednesday.

That was not very professional of your superintendent, but extremely consistent it seems. On the positive side, Ron was honest about the interaction.

Don'tcha love it when you're in the right and the other person manages to make you feel like the bad guy? Give me a groveling apology over that any day!
