Good morning,
Eating is better today. DW picked fresh asparagus so I felt a little Ann shining through.
All of the house guest are gone to the trailer in the woods and the house is extra quiet. It was good to kiss on Adalyn cheeks until she said that?s enough kissing pop pop. I may follow them home early this week.
The CBD oil seems to be holding my mood better than the dozens of pills and potions I have tried before now. I am always reluctant to say it is working well because then it does not last. (Magical thinking) The company I bought it from is set up on a tiered marketing plan like Amway. You buy it then you become a distributor and the person you bought it from gets a cut while you buy it at wholesale. You can always choose to just buy retail. I will probably do that. I have had about 2 weeks of good mood and that is better than I have had for years. A real blessing. And I also think it helps with pain control some. I do not know if it is placebo effect but I will take it either way. A good mood is worth thousands to me. And probably worth more to my DW.
Hoping everyone has a great day today!
More Later, David

Hello all,
I am awake too early and surprised to see you, Dave! We will see if this weak internet and ipad can make a post that sticks.
Amway CBD! It is a whole new world. I am thrilled you have felt better, no matter the reason. Maybe a combination of a number of things including those baby grand girls. I hope your DD feels better.
I have a final long hike in Zion this morning then back to the real world,if one can call Vegas real. My lipid conference will be starting.
Yesterday's morning hike was a hike I said I would never do because much of it is in cold water, sometimes pretty deep. Well, I just couldn't stand it....there were too many accolades, so I rented gear to keep me dry and literally jumped in at 7am. It was unique, for sure, walking up the river that created much of Zion in a canyon it is still carving.
First, me in my gear and an unfortunate hairdo.

More general pics (oh not posting pics normally this morning so this will be a chain posting) and apparently pics above the text. It is Backwards Day as my DD would say

And finally a pic from my afternoon hike whi*****luded the dreaded chains so one doesn?t fall. I was able to take a pic because the ledge wasn?t as narrow as that very first hike so I wasn?t preoccupied with panicking. I am not sure you can see where the ledge ends. There is a canyon between what looks like there like just a V where two slabs of rock meet. Those slabs are nowhere near touching. There is a sheer drop off separating the two

Shel, your pictures and descriptions are absolutely breathtaking. Your determination and sheer guts scare and inspire me. Your strength and accomplishments will NOT be diminished if you choose to pass on opportunities you don't feel right about. David, your post made me break into a wide smile ! There was wonder and joy in your voice. Finding wonder and joy is critical to balanced health. Looked up CBD oil and it sounds like it could really be a key in continuing your forward momentum.
Colonoscopy prep was hell, drugs were magnificent, and three polyps were removed. On pain killers, muscle relaxers, knee brace and crutches for severe sprain. If I had been at my former weight when all of my weight landed on the knee, the consequences could have been so much worse. It is feeling so much better today and I am able to bear some weight with crutches.
Onward and forward Peeps & Pep!
