DS#1 and DIL have a volt. It has been a lot of hassle with not starting. Getting to the destination and then not starting. DIL researched most reliable cars and bought a Subaru Outback. When they buy the next model I think we are going to try and buy it from them.

Greetings VSGMers!

Well, I was down a whole 3.2 pounds yesterday, but then today was up a half. I'll take it. The weekend weight probably was indeed water from the workout.

Eating is slowly getting better. Today is my last day of Vyvanse. My BP is just too high on the pill, so rather than adding another pill to the mix. I took my regular dose yesterday and took a half dose today. Tomorrow will be a no dose day. I figure this stuff gets out of the system quickly, so I don't think I will suffer any ongoing withdrawal other than a bit of fatigue the first day or two. I don't think that 60 mg of a stimulant per day is enough to cause me any grief. Honestly, I don't even really notice the stimulant effects anymore. Hopefully, my binge behavior is well enough in check and I'm in the right frame of mind so that I won't even really notice the change. Fingers crossed.

I was able to get some things off my chest yesterday regarding curriculum. I have no idea how seriously my concerns were taken, but at least I got my concerns voiced to the people who I believe need to hear it. I doubt very much that anything will change, but at least I've had my say. Education is like dieting. There are always new experts and trends and fats that have great short term results, but in the end to nothing to solve the real problems of weight management or the education system! Whole Reading/Low Carb; New Math/High Carb, Low fat; Back to Basics/Counting Macros & Calories; etc...

I felt relaxed last evening for the first time in about 2 weeks. Was nice. I liked the feeling of not having so much pressure. It could be habit forming! LOL!

Well, poop! OH just dumped my post. I had been adding to it over the morning and now, poof! Gone when I submitted it! Flapdoodle and Blatherscythe!

Abbreviated addition:

Weight down 3.0 yesterday from weekend. Back up about .5 this morning. Okay by me.

Got some work stress out of my system yesterday. Felt good. Don't think anything will come of it, because in education that's the nature of the beast. Listen, nod heads, express compassion and empathy, and 99% of the time business as usual resumes.

There was something else - oh... yeah... Today is the last dose of Vyvanse. Bye Bye Vyvanse. BP is just too high. Don't want to add another pill, so I have to go off of it. I'm good with it.

Last day of vyvanse was tough for me but I had another stimulant to fall back on. I am off of the nuts and yogurt and I attribute it to vyvanse. Maybe extra coffee.
