Weight 167.8 improvement

My therapist said she thinks my eating has been a response to the anxiety of my upcoming surgery. I can see that might be true. I was good yesterday, but it was a struggle!

Today I am going to the Pasadena Design House. They take a giant old home and have designers redo every room and sell tickets to see it to benefit the philharmonic and music programs for kids. They are usually spectacular.

Hope you all have good Tuesdays!

That makes sense - I know you said elsewhere that journaling may help, so that is worth a try. I am not generally too stressed or anxious BUT when I am I historically turn to food so I need to be aware of that and figure out how to cope too.

Good luck with Hospice. They were wonderful to work with when we got to that point with DD. It takes a special person to do that work.

Greetings Precocious Peeps

Down a half to 148. I still hate that number but can't seem to get myself to do what I need to. Feeling unmotivated lately. And I can't seem to make up my mind on the car. DH wants the Bolt but what I really want is a new Prius. Oh well. It will become clear at some point. I need to sit down and do some serious financial analysis. Gallery duty today and it will be slow so thats probably a good time to do it.

Dave good deal on the house. Don't know how you do it. Sorry DD has the mesh and infection. Its good there is family to help out. Yep, Adalyn has you trained.Good for her. Keep on rockin' that little one.

Last nights dinner was bacon. Real bacon plus tomatoes. Such a treat. I cook it burnt to a crisp leaving a huge amount of grease in the pan so I tell myself its not that unhealthy. (yes I am food delusional).

Paula I don't have to tell you how wonderful hospice people are but so sorry you are at this point. Yep, counseling is good and schedule extra. Good for you for keeping weight stable at a stressful time.

Liz glad Chiquita is perking up. Justice is such a little charmer how could she not?

Oh Shel, can't believe you did that scary hike!! Wow. I am not especially afraid of heights (happily drove and walked the Royal Gorge) but I am terrified of my own clumsiness and fear falling. I hate it when there are steps without a railing. A chain to hold on to? Seriously? Well I am glad you made it but hope you find a more fun one.

BB hug that little Becca for us. We love hearing about the baby progress (and we don't have to deal with diapers). Sorry your DH has the job angst. Hang in there.

Well not much going on today except gallery duty and related chores. But first time for more you-know-what. Diane S
