What's happening in your husband's company stinks. It sounds like my old company where the same morale sucking speculation has been going on since 2016. They have been reorganizing one department after another. Mine was in the fall (as you know), but many of my former colleagues are going through it now. Some are happy to leave by the time they get notice because of what has happened to the work environment there. It used to be a place where most of us enjoyed our jobs and put in a lot of our time and energy because of that, but I don't think that is the case anymore.
