Oh, Paula, I am wishing for you and Ben and the boys some good and loving moments in the coming weeks.

And I'm sending you some strong hugs.

Oh Paula, I've been catching up so just learned about what you're up against at home. My heart hurts for you. Any time you feel the need for a silly reprieve, imagine Violet and I picking you up at the Canadian border.

No words. My eyes felt the pressure of your reality, but I fought it down. All I have to offer you today is love. I wish I could hold you tight and stand behind you, ready to brace you with the strength you will need in the moments to come.

Sleep (goal 8 hrs.) - 6
Vegetables/Fruits (goal 8/day) - 8
Exercise - Nothing

Sleep wasn't great last night, but I was in bed watching TV, so that's rest too, eh?

Had 8 V/Fs yesterday -- good ones that you'd recognize the names of. :) Too bad my weight didn't drop, but am hoping tomorrow morning to be rewarded with a new number.

Today has been VERY productive. More errands. And I got all my bills paid that will come due while I'm gone -- even advance-paid some via phone that haven't arrived yet. That's the first time I've ever taken responsibility for that. It was less horrific than I imagined it would be. So those skills were learned.

I had a great yoga class this morning. And the packing is going well, by which I mean my packing LIST is going well. I will probably do the actual packing Thursday morning. The list, however, is critical to everything.

I'm starting to get excited. And I'm starting to let go of worries about everything that could go wrong while I'm gone. For me, letting go of those obsessions is a big deal prior to a long trip away from home.

I'm just glad to see / hear everyone here sharing their news -- big, little, yucky, sweet, boring, joyful, whatever.

Today's theme: Eventually, ****tail hour arrives. :)

What a wonderful trip you are going to have. And yes, the list is critical! I use the notes on my iPhone/iPad for all my lists these days so they are always available. I was just updating my Florida packing/closing up List.

Weight 168.6 grrr. All my fault, but grrr.

It was a nice day here. Gorgeous weather, a massage, therapy, dog walks, and a deposit made on my new closet, which hopefully will go in in a week and a half.

My surgery anxiety is manifesting in me worrying that I didn't do/lose enough to have a good outcome. That I'm one of the before pictures where I not-so-nicely think why didn?t they lose 50-100 more pounds and then do plastics?

Liz, my last house interior was painted in a color called Funny Girl by Dunn Edwards. So pretty and from the beige section, but it was a warm yellow. Nothing jarring. Funny Girl

This is so late, I'll wish you all a warm, early Wednesday.
