Weight 117.8, calories 1960. I was helping eat leftover stuff prior to going home in a week...
After having the zoomies night before last, now Justice seems a little off. He didn't finish dinner last night and hasn't eaten yet this morning. Hmmm...
We saw a friends place in our Park last night which is absolutely beautiful. She has her walls painted an incredibly pale yellow which brightens it up. LOTS of furniture and builtins which you would think would make it feel smaller, but instead it seems bigger. Of course she is an interior decorator by trade.
We have one week left. Our plans are to go out to eat with friends Thursday, take a boat cruise to an island on the weekend and go to the beach one more time. And pack of course. I'm going to ship a box home, but the big challenge is what to leave here vs take home.
Have a weightless Wednesday!

Eating is close to being on track. But grazing is still hard to control these days. I have not had nuts and yogurt in over 2 weeks. I have weighed. Holding. I know I am still way up. Ordered larger pants. I could not put it off any longer.
Tornado season is here. Cold a few days then perfect weather then warm then cold. Springtime in AR.
Baby is on the mend. But I caught the head cold she had.
Drove back to the woods for house sitting. DS#1 and DIL went out hiking their dogs to wear them out. They wore the dogs down but found morels in the process. Double win.
Work on the house is going slow. Floor prep is something I dislike. Grinding tile grout is so dusty. Not only because it is dusty but I know I will have to clean the whole house top to bottom after remodeling.
My mom called sounded a bit confused. She said she caught my head cold. But hers was a stomach bug. Went to see her. She had a really bad stomach bug. N&V. Laundered her bed linens and PJs. Got some liquids in her and she perked up. Of course I got it 2 days later. It only lasted 24 hours but not good hours.
I go to the Pain doc today. I hate going to new docs. Then plan to go back to the house to work for a couple of weeks. There has been a lot of travel back and forth in the last 2 weeks.
Mood has been better lately. Sleep has been wonderful. Don't know if mood is because of the sleep or what. I will take it either way. CBD oil. It is supposed to be legal in all 50 states. Some debate over sales of it.
More later, David

Good to see you, David!
I can't tell if you are using CBD oil or thinking about it. If so, is that related to improved sleep? Good sleep is so delicious.
Even my mom is happy that people can now buy medical marijuana in Iowa, so times are changing. But, you live in a dry county -- so are you able to purchase the CBD legally now?
I am pretty sure that DH is using some sort of marijuana for sleep but he won't admit to it. He's a funny man. Both medical and Rec are well established here.
Good luck with the pain doc, today. Hopefully you meet someone you feel you can work with.

The improved quality of sleep and mood change is because of CBD oil. Dry county...The law is sketchy on that. Clubs can have alcohol. On the cbd oil seems the laws are you can use it as long as thc is less than 0.3%. Like any OTC supplements. But you can't sell it. So there lies the problem. We passed legalized medical marijuana in AR but the conservative legislators are slowing the process with red tape.

For a too-long while, it was legal in Iowa for parents to give marijuana to their children with epilepsy. But, there was no way to legally buy it in Iowa and transporting it from another state like CO was illegal. Anyway, now legal to buy in Iowa so eventually that was sorted out.
Very interesting about OTC status -- so does your kids' pharmacy carry it????? Oh hold it, eta that I see it can't be sold. Or not legally anyway?
Washington traditional pharmacies would never have it in the store....I think that by law it has to be in either in medical or rec stores.

They can not sell it. I think they would like to. And she thinks that medical marijuana should be sold by pharmacies.
On the cbd oil, I think there was some kind of farm bill that was passed that allowed use of hemp products as long as the thc levels were almost gone. The DEA has been consistently saying it is illegal to sell. The DEA will find it in a pharmacy. They do not look at Facebook marketplace or at yard sales. The laws in ar are very restrictive at best. The selected growers all all set on go in this state. Something needs to relax out of Washington for any real change. I can not believe it is still a thing. But I can't believe there are still dry counties. Kinda like daylight savings time. Really the emperor has no clothes. Move on to something that is a real problem.

Good morning!
I am down to 2 cups of coffee a day and yesterday I was dragging at the end despite good sleep. Nuts ensued. I will adjust. Or, I will add back some afternoon coffee. I am not a glutton (for punishment) and will find balance. And shout out to my body: There is a 1/2 lb of Brussel sprouts from 2 days ago still in me. GET WITH IT!
Honestly, compared to most of you, my life is recess. I'm starting to watch weather in Utah, I'll be there in 1.5 weeks, with a couple of days in Bryce Canyon then couple of days in Zion National Park. Then on to Lipid conference in Vegas. The NP's are at elevation and get below freezing at night but day time temps look comfortable enough,
So, my big worry....do I have room for both a yoga mat AND all my all weather hiking layers in my luggage?
Also, will I meet my gym's running challenge before I go so I don't HAVE to complete it at a sister gym in Vegas?
Paula, thinking of you!
Liz, there is something about Justice's face that is so appealing. (DianeS, my brain thinks Justice in a French.) I love seeing that guy on Facebook, as often as possible. As a kid, we had a foal with an injury that would start to feeling great, have the zoomies, and (predictably) not feel so great. Rinse, repeat. Finally just had zoomies for fun with no consequence. Maybe just part of the healing process?
I would like to have closets that contained such interesting things like old checks in foreign money.
Doesn't it look like Ann is having some fun on trip? Nice to see joy.
Find your recess!
Shel

Greetings Perfect Peeps and Peps
147. Not so perfect. I actually hate the word "perfect". I kind of think there is no such thing. I am more of a free form messy person. So there.
Todays events are: pick up junk for the housekeeper to come, go sign the tax returns and write out large checks, go to the pharmacy, deal with more estate stuff and then an afternoon at the fudge gallery. But I have seen the fudge and it does not interest me. But almonds sure do. I have been eating far too many of them, telling myself its better than chips. But I have no chips around.
Dave sorry you picked up that cold. Glad you could help out your mom. Grout grinding sounds awful. Wear a respirator! Glad the CB oil is helping you. I am sure Martha Stewart would say "its a good thing". The stuff is fully legal here now but the regulatory systems are messy and not all worked out yet. I have yet to set foot in one of the dispensaries. An adventure for another day.
Liz I bet its fun to see other homes in your park. I used to love decorating but have given up. The dogs do our decorating now. Enjoy your last days in Florida.
And Ann, enjoy New Orleans. Food is a big part of it and I bet you walk it off.
Shel, your trip sounds like fun. Do some good hikes for all of us. I will be hiking in circles in the gallery. Diane S
