Weight 117.8, calories 1292. Up 1 pound. I know I ate more lemon poppy seed bread than intended, but that seems excessive. Like Diane S., sometimes the twists and turns of the scale baffle me. I wanted to eat more but didn't...

Nothing on the agenda - we are busy eating refrigerator leftovers now in preparation for leaving next week. We either need to find another home for our condiments, throw them out or or leave our refrigerator on when we leave. Last year we drove so took them with us, but since we are flying that obviously isn't an option.

Justice had a nutty dog spell last night running around like a speed demon with the back of the couch serving as a banked turn. First time I've seen that! Our best beagle used to do that when super young, so I'm wondering if maybe Justice is younger than the estimated 4 years.

Have a timeless Tuesday!

Weight 133.6....dropped a pound of post op swelling overnight...light is coming through at the end of the tunnel now. I can see fitting into my pants in a couple of weeks at this rate.

Today is my last day working from home. My sick kid is with me. So hoping his cold vastly improves overnight since tomorrow is my first day back in the office.

Good luck going back into the office! Aren't you only 3 weeks post-op? You must be healing fast. I worked from home until I was 4 weeks post-op for my TT.

Yep, 2.5 weeks post op. Would have been back on Monday, but surgeon said Wednesday at the earliest.

Am a fast healer in general. Am lucky. Only iffy spot is my belly button which is still very oozy.

Why can't I eat like I did yesterday all the time? I was satisfied, ate yummy things, and didn't plow through two dozen or so mini-biscotti. Perhaps the key is there were no biscotti in the house to plow through. Nah, it couldn't be that simple, could it?

Today I'm headed to my new doctor's office for my surgery pre-clearance appointment. I'm not sure if any of the blood tests are fasting ones, so I think I'll hold off on breakfast/coffee until after to save myself a second trip. Wahhhhhh...

Did I mention my traveller's check conundrum here? When cleaning my closet I found 3 £50 travelers checks from the 1990's in an old purse (told you cleaning my closet was an archeological exercise). My bank and two currency conversion stores couldn't exchange them. Finally I tried emailing MasterCard who sent me an email address of the company that bought the issuer in London to try. They agreed to help me with "encashment of my traveller's cheques" which they stopped selling in 2008! I just have to fill out 7 pages of forms and mail them to England. I'm not certain it'll be worth all the time and aggravation spent or the postage, but now I have to see it through...

Oooh, I want coffee. Another warm day here today. Yesterday was 94. Today a more reasonable 87. I don't like heat!

Hey we found some very old travelers checks in my mom's stuff. Now I am not sure what I did with them?! DS

Ah, so frustrating when cleaning finds go into hiding again...

Liz, Justice had what are called the "zoomies"! Random frenetic activity. They are glorious. I miss Fergie's zoomie days...

We called them the zoomies too! Ours dogs do that sometimes, less now that they are a little older!

Yep, Tesla gets the Zoomies too! When she was little she would flip her bed upside down on top of her and then go flying around - effectively a flying bed and she couldn't see but didn't care. LOL. DS
