Weight 116.8, calories 958. We had a good lunch with our friends yesterday. This morning we say goodbye to one of them then more each day until we leave next week.

We have a guest coming for breakfast who used to live across the street from us for 20 years. We haven't seen her for about a year or so, but she is here visiting a friend who lives about 7 miles from us. I made a low-carb breakfast casserole, which hopefully will taste good (first time I've made it). The rest of the day is up in the air other than walking Justice.

Speaking of Justice, his weight is down .2 pounds since he became active again. He had gained 2.4 pounds in that first 30 days. I think another pound down more or less will get him back to the weight he belongs at (about 9.2-9.4).

Time to get more coffee as Diane says! Have a miracle Monday!

Finishing last minute preparations, notifying bank and credit cards, having mail held, etc It is supposed to be upper 70's and sunny the weekend we arrive. Already heartsick about leaving the dogs, but they really like their house sitter. I had planned to be at the lower end of my range prior to leaving, but that is not the case. I'm confident my activity level and access to fresh, healthy foods will keep me in the zone. Stoked about leaving snow behind !

Weight was up again. About 165.4 or something.

Yesterday was quite the struggle. DH was pretty sick so he didn't want to be around baby. And she was having an extra fussy day. Plus I was taking care of DH.

I actually got to eat breakfast today!! Hurrah!! I tried one of those "just crack an egg" cups. Pretty nifty. Decent macros, too. Mostly protein. Easy.

Paula-I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. You really need a break.

Liz-that's so cool to have a winter home and summer home. Guess 'tis the season to head back up north. We had our first real snow of the season on SAturday. Couldn't believe it. Of course it wasn't much (it never is here in OK) but it was enough that there were several wrecks on the roadways when I was headed to a funeral Saturday morning. Crazy weather!

BB, thanks for mentioning the "just crack and egg" things. I had been wondering about those. DianeS

The nicest thank you card I have ever received for a shower or wedding gift was on my hallway table yesterday afternoon. It must have come to on Saturday. BB, thank you for such a lovely thank you and your very kind words. I was really taken by your thoughtfulness. And yes, your hunch was right. Working with a mostly female staff for 25 years, I have garnered some skill and knowledge about showers and more importantly, registries! I have been to many showers at school!

If you have not yet discovered Osh-Kosh or Carter's on line, you must. great clothes for infants and toddlers and reasonable prices. Clothes are quality, too. I just got a good friends little 4 year old a pair of pink Oshkosh short-alls for $17.99. Heavy duty, but pink and pretty!

Good morning! Mondays are now Pilates and therapy as I'm doubling up on classes since I'll miss the end of the session in May/June.

I received an email from the plastic surgeon's marketing manager. They have a web series they do on people having a 360 body lift and he was asking if I would be willing to participate. They are roughly 10 minutes in length with an interview of the person, video of them being marked up, some surgery and some after shots (clothed!). They'd be on his website and on YouTube. On one hand, I found watching ones he did of other patients really helpful. But I'm not sure having identifiable video of myself "out there" like that forever is appealing. I would be more willing to have video of my surgery where my face is covered and my name isn't mentioned out there. Writing it out here, I think that's what I'll offer. Use whatever filming you want, but not my face or name.

Oh, here's my lastest class painting. The flowers look a little mushed together and the glass stem is shaky (I have jittery hands), but it was fun...

Have a great day all!

Very nice use of value - especially the blue - for the shading. Well done!
