Greetings Lovely Ones
146.5 today. At least I had a decent amount of steps and with all I have to do today it will be even more. Go to the courthouse to do some dumb tax filing for the gallery. Then the state of California thinks my mother needs to file a tax return here when she had been an invalid in Nebraska for years! Dopes!
But the sun is shining and will be all week. It sure shows how many cobwebs are around my windows!. The little spiders work overtime around here and little webs abound.
I caught a cold down south and while its far from the worst I've had, its annoying. I couldn't get the heavy duty cold pills down there due to pharmacy being closed but now have them. Quelle difference!
Speaking of French, nephew and bride are in Paris and sending zillions of photos on facebook. So sweet of them to share their trip with us old folks. Italy next.
Paula, so hoping Ben can get some relief and you two can have some good times. You are indeed a model of grace and strength and we so admire you.
Liz, happy two years. Stay with what you are doing. I did like you do for about four years and then stopped tracking and got a little sideways. I am still vastly better off but need to ditch a few bad habits. Vive la sleeve!
Shel glad you are home safe. Long drive for you but at least it is a beautiful one indeed. I'm with you on drawing the line on hiking through water. If I wanted water I'd go to a beach.
Diane O, good idea about Justice scent. When we had puppies years ago and sent them to new homes, I had a big piece of fuzzy cloth that had been one of their blankets. I cut it into four pieces and sent a piece with each puppy so they had scent of their mom and litter mates with them.
Well I am seeing bedding plants at the stores and have the urge to buy some. Maybe I can get DH to clear out the planters of last years weeks and junk.
BB I will try to friend you on Facebook so I can see more Nugget. I used to wonder why people always took their babies out in buggies but now I get it - its so mom can get out of the house and baby will doze off.
Hope you had a good book club Ann. I still keep meaning to order the Crimes Against the Book Club or whatever that fun book was.
New members chime in please. No subject off limits!

So much for reigning it in yesterday... I will today.
This is kind of TMI, but I was thinking in Pilates yesterday that that was the first time my extra skin was uncomfortable rather than just visually annoying to me. For some reason the skin on my rear seemed to feel folded and trapped underneath me and I couldn't seem to flatten it out so it didn't hurt - it's not like you can stick your hands down your pants in a room full of people! It's sore even today. That will be nice to get rid of. 41 days.
Painting class started up again yesterday. It was fun and had a few new folks I enjoyed meeting.
I bought the doggie some new shoes. He drags his back paws when he walks (he has some back problems that make him do that) and sometimes his toenails get worn down so much they bleed. So I'm hoping some little sneakers solve the problem. They are so cute!
Anyway, a hike is happening this afternoon, so maybe some dog walking this morning to try out the new shoes...
Have a great day!
Adorable shoes - I hope he doesn't mind having them on his feet!

I very much remember sitting on a puddle of skin in yoga pre-LBL. So nice to have that gone. I still have plenty of upper leg skin to keep me company but that LBL was worth every penny to rid me of stuff higher up.
I think that extra skin limiting activity is a legit reason have it removed even if one didn't care from a vanity standpoint. My husband's insurance company agreed. (I am dual covered.). It covered the abdominoplasty (spelling?) portion of the surgery because the extra skin limited activity.
My own insurance didn't consider that a reason for authorization. (I feel lucky that even the VSG was covered so don't want to be critical at all about PS coverage considering how so many have to pay out of pocket)
