Totally human nature and agree that it is impossible to avoid. And please don't stop voicing your concerns.
So, if there is anything to be shifted, maybe to focus on compassion for yourself? It took me decades to truly realize that is even a thing. I thought it was for girls that already had their house in order....ie, thin, popular, ate perfectly, etc etc etc.

Breastfeeding is great. But no where near essential! Not a biggie. Being the wonderful Mom that you are and are going to continue to be is what counts. I just had the most wonderful birthday dinner with my 27 year old son who I didn't give birth to and couldn't breastfeed and we had such a wonderful time. We are so bonded!
