Weight 116.4, calories 771. I don't know the number of V/Fs but I have added quite a bit over the last few weeks based on Ann's success. For instance I have been loving having fresh blueberries in my yogurt. Having an Aldi here helps, and we just found out that they opened one near home while we were gone.
Today is a wash clothes, clean the house kind of day as we are going to the beach tomorrow. It is still on the edge of cool today, but it will be quite warm tomorrow. The laundry was already started at 6:30 am.
We tried to take DH to the shopping village on the water yesterday afternoon. We told him it was to pick out shirts for his brother and our son. He was in a mood from the moment we got there. He had the wrong clip-on sunglasses so got snippy about that. Then he was upset that we weren't eating out there (apparently that is what he thought because he forgot that we were just going for shirts). He literally got angry because we didn't like the red shirt he picked out for his brother (it was weird and an odd shade of red) and he didn't like any of the shirts for our son. His sense of style seems to have disappeared because he is wearing the same stuff over and over and likes different things than in the past. He was always pretty even tempered in the past so tantrums are tough to deal with. We just left at that point as there was no point in staying while he was in that mood. Which means I have to go back. He was happy as a clam a couple of hours later by dinner. Sigh...
We are taking Justice for daily walks in his travel bag. He doesn't love getting in but settles down really quickly and is quiet and looks relaxed. Of course treats for getting in and when he gets out are involved. My goal is for the flight home to feel like a regular day for him.
DS called in panic because Chiquita (old dog at home) was refusing to eat. I cancelled the Darwins because of the expense. DH made some homemade dog food and Chiquita scarfed it. She is a stubborn little bugger. I wonder what she will think about Justice...

Good morning!
We are in San Francisco, aka Devon-land. I was here for a quick weekend about 20 years ago.
We spent a couple of nights outside SF and I spent a half day in Muir Woods without the teenagers. I had a 10 mile hike planned but decided to just enjoy the woods in the interest in time and energy. Maybe more importantly, I wanted to be able to savor the experience, to have the option to linger when the mood struck. It was the right choice, there is joy and serenity in those woods
I understand that SF is a bit colder and wetter than usual. Still warmer and dryer than Seattle.
Paula, I sure hope you enjoy Chicago, pizza and all.
Liz, I hope Chiquita enjoys Justice. That didn?t happen for me when I brought Tink home to meet Annie. Annie had grieved when her partner dog, Mindy, passed. I can still feel her disapproval (disgust?) with me personally when I introduced her to Tink. This still makes me sad...Annie was very special to me and her approval mattered a lot. She got along with Tink, tho, because she was a good girl.
Cecily, call the office Monday, you have reason to want to know now rather than later. I would hope you had gotten notice already if abnormal so hopefully the delay is good news.
Have a great day! Shel

Beautiful! I was there probably 35 years ago and of course don't remember that plaque (love it!).

Oh, bliss! Bliss, bliss, bliss, bliss, bliss! I'm so glad you took this trip. It makes me want to wander all over NoCal car-camping. But without teenagers. ;)

Weight? At my Dad's
My numbers were back up! In fact the low number she was worried about hasn't been this high since 11/2016. Whew! I feel so much better not having that hanging over my head...
The sushi was amazing last night. I could have eaten so much more!
This morning I think I'll take a hike, then we have dinner number 2 tonight.
Hope you all have a fabulous Saturday!
Cecily, that's great! Congratulations. Onward! :)
