Only 5 hours of sleep last night and only 6 V/Fs (4.5 hours of driving time yesterday), and I was way under-hydrated. Not surprisingly, I'm tired this morning.
So I'll do better on those fronts today.
Yesterday afternoon on my way back from The Big City, I stopped to visit my CPA and his wife and asked him to do a tax filing extension for me this year. I'm not in the mood to spend the next week rustling up the records and preparing accounting schedules he needs to submit my 2017 tax return by April 15. He agreed and didn't even nag me. Plus, he and his wife invited me to have dinner with them soon, which made it an even better meet-up. :)
I had a good session with my therapist yesterday. As usual, I'm still processing everything. I also found some sweet new yoga clothes at TJ Maxx that are more colorful -- not so much black. I also ran into an astonishing 75% off sale at my favorite consignment clothing shop and got a beautiful quilted melon-colored spring jacket and a white Anne Klein dress for less than lunch would have cost me yesterday, if I'd actually eaten a proper lunch.
Today is yoga class, errands, and a physical therapy appointment.
Today's theme (riffing on DianeO's comments yesterday): I invite restoration and peace for my body and mind.

It sounds like you had a good day overall yesterday other than the lack of sleep. I tend to worry that you had a short night when I see you posting this early. When it is Paula I just assume she has an early work day. I have early Justice days now...
Weight 118.8, calories 762, including quite a few V/F. I too have been adding more in intentionally. Hopefully it is the extreme humidity, lack of bathroom time and slightly high sodium yesterday which resulted in a +.6 even though I ate on plan.
Yesterday I walked doggies at the shelter and checked in with the vet about Justice. They were pleased that he is doing so well and that we are adopting him. We don't even need to bring him back in unless we want them to do a final check. I'll just have to do the papers, get his records and pay the adoption fee (only 1/2 because we are fostering him). Obviously I need to set a checkup with my own vet right away and get him on a regular heartworm preventative, etc.
I was upgraded to the next higher level of walking even though one of the dogs I walked had to be upgraded as well. Green are the easiest, blue the next level, and red are the difficult ones. I'm qualified for blue now, but one of the ones I walked nearly pulled me over. She was one of those super muscular pit mixes. She was quite sweet walking and even putting the leash on on her cage. BUT, as soon as I got her out of her cage, she was trying to attack all the other dogs through their cage bars and was so strong that I almost couldn't get her outside. When I tried to bring her back in, she started again and almost pulled me over, so I brought her back outside, put her in a pen and asked one of the experienced men to help. After they observed her behavior she was upgraded to red.
Today is a weather change day here with showers predicted in the afternoon and humidity and temperature dropping by at least 10 degrees. Seems to be a normal cycle here.
Have a timely Tuesday!

Good Morning!
Ann, glad you picked up some color. I always get colored tops but haven't branched out into bottoms. Liz, it has been so interesting learning about the volunteer program's structure. And great pic.
Yesterday's hike was a 13.5 mile loop thru Redwoods and included ocean. I always have the girls lead. They go slightly faster than my natural pace and almost never stop to admire the scenery. We made good time. 40,000 steps for the day.
We were tired afterward and didn't see DianeS but perhaps today. We are moving down to Eureka today which is still in D's neighborhood. We will see only a fraction of what is available.
Have a great day. Paula, hope all is well.

Oh how I love the way we all take in, mull over, and augment individual posts often reflecting back a more unified, cogent whole. We rock !! To invite positive desired outcomes is much more powerful than being open to it. Nailed it, Ann !
Cecily... thought a lot about "Supporting someone who wants you to listen and not fix can make some people squirmy." Timely reminder for me ! I am a recovering fixer and this reminder came when I needed to hear it. Thanks ! Shel, your photos and glimpses into your magic mirror transport me there ! Ann, aren't fabulous consignment finds the best ?! Liz, walking the red dogs may be too much for a 116 pound tiny lady ! There have been times Sadie has caught my center of gravity off guard where I've had to sit down to hold my ground. Joey.. yes... hang on to those friends and surround yourself with like minded women! Paula.. hope that DS #1 is working things back around, and that you'll get some sleep.
So, when I arrived for my massage yesterday, my therapist's significant other was there reworking computers in her new location. I'd never met him before. During the chatty, catching up initial moments of the massage, I shared the kennel experience and my desire to find the perfect person to care for Atlas and Sadie in our home. She shared that her boyfriend does seasonal work and is a dog person who could be very interested ! Long story short, they stopped by after work yesterday and the dogs LOVE both of them ! Christopher is an Air Force Vet (bonded with Chuck immediately), and is excited for the opportunity. If he gets tied up on a given day, she is willing to be his back up. Gratitude to karma for coming through again ! Off for more coffee and a lottery ticket. May even stop by a consignment shop for a magic mirror and/or some spring finds !
Invite it, it will come !

I agree on the red level. I wanted to move to blue as there are a lot of dogs in that category and I think they are generally manageable (if not misclassified). I don't think I'll try for red.

WOW, DianeO! Talk about how INVITING the good stuff brings it right in the front door ... your dog-sitter(s) are a major INVITING win! That's a huge thing. You got the door prize today. :)
