166.8 and no good salt excuse, just serious overeating!
This morning I was looking forward to sleeping in and doing nothing while I caught up online and drank coffee, but my friend asked if we could go on a beach walk. Given how I ate yesterday, I thought I should say yes. I'll be glad I went, but I'm not glad at the moment.
My closet shovel out goes well. I found a store bag of clothes I never wore from years ago that were all 2x's. Way too late to return them. Someone will get a deal from Goodwill! Grrr. It's like archeology. The piles would be size 10s on the top, size 12s under that, then 14s. All piles have now been sorted. Half my shoes are sorted, but now on to the ones I wore least in boxes. I should have more to purge there. I called the closet designer a friend used. He's going to get back to me Monday to set up a time to meet. Whew.
Gotta run to get to the beach on time...
Greetings Sunny Sunday People
Its sunny here which bodes well for Shel and company. They are in luck for a couple of good days. They have a couple of hikes planned today which I think are in some of the best places and will get to a little town very near me tonight. I am hoping we can get dinner together tonight. There is a good mom and pop place but I have to resist ordering this one evil item - its an ice cream cone-like thing made of crisp corn bread and then instead of ice cream it has a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy on top!
147 today %^&%%$^^@@*!!! I am with you Liz. I didn't feel like I did that poorly but the scale does not lie. (or does it?).
Cecily good luck on de-junking. DH is really getting into it but the problem is that he has spread stuff all over the living room in the process. Closet is much better but the living room looks like a storage unit.
Yep Liz, put down the deposit on Justice. You need him and he needs you.
Ann, your list of things to do daily is pretty good. The deer should be able to find some greens now. I love feeding birds but in a residential neighborhood having a bird feeder ends up attracting rodents. We stick to a finch feeder with thistle seed only. Lots of gold finches here. And a humming bird feeder.
And Ann, glad you are beginning to feel some movement forward beyond the initial most difficult days.
Well Diane O, find a good kennel for your pups. We are having a house sitter come to take care of ours as they are better off in their own space plus the house is more secure.
Hey Devon, how are ya and how is Keira? Healing well I hope.
Take care all. Diane S
Thank you, Diane. I hope that you, Shel and the girls can get together tonight -- with or without cornbread ice cream cones. ;)
I must admit that my list of daily "accomplishments" was more than a bit sarcastic, in that the list doesn't seem like much of a life I aspire to have, but more like a good day in the life of my mother when she was 85.
Oh, well, it's better than never getting out of bed. Speaking of which, I'm (finally) about to go take that walk.
Hoping for more pix soon! :)

Keira is doing very well! No one would ever know she had major surgery only 11 days ago. She's running and playing and giving the pups and visiting pups the what for! I was telling a friend/client this morning how happy I am that I decided to do what was right and what I could live with having on my conscience. I'm still amazed that she fell in that small 15% benign tumor category.
Devon, I'm smiling here. An excellent decision on your behalf about Keira. And good fortune has smiled on you all.
Come on, Lady Fortune -- give Devon, Ron, Keira, and all the pups even more big grins!

We had a repeat of an ER visit for mental health issues last night. This time they were willing to admit but no rooms available at that hospital or our sister hospital. This momma is getting weary again. The tears just flowed down my face uncontrollably today at church during the worship music time. No noise, no sniffling, just streams of tears like what happened one time on our way back from Mayo. ***heavy sigh***
Ben seems to have another skin tumor pop up about every week now. He has two new ones, one on his shoulder and one on his neck. At least they are not painful.
I'm pretty sure DS#1 is jobless right now. He left work last night to go to the ER and they told him leaving would be considered abandonment of the job and when he went to leave anyway, they asked him to hand in his apron and hat. He had also quit his other job at Subway because his now job at Qdoba was paying more and was going to be about 30-35 hours per week. Maybe this will give him time/incentive to get his S#it together. Mental health issues suck!
On a brighter note, the day is nice and sunny and I think I will go take a walk outside.
Oh, Paula! I'm so sorry. On top of everything else you're juggling, you must be exhausted. I hope you can get some rest tonight.
Hugs and more hugs to you.

Paula, my heart aches for you and your family ! So much on your shoulders and weighing on your heart and mind. I, too, wish I had a magic wand. We're here to support you and hold you safe in our thoughts.
